....

My head is spinning.

I...I need to sell my bricks.

This is a DBZ DVD release worth the retail price.

That...is something I never thought I'd see.

My head is still spinning.

Just...wow.

I wonder if Schemmel or Hebert will be narrating the dub of these next episode previews...

Well, the next episode previews aired on TV with Kyle Hebert/Dale Kelly narration, so Hebert will probably dub over anything done by Dale Kelly.

So, I hope that means no more "KRILLIN'S IN DA HOUSE!"

Many of the next episode previews were done by Schemmel when they were being shown on Cartoon Network and released on VHS, so I have a strong feeling they'll fill out the rest that weren't done by him.

Oh, I never knew that. I always thought Funi had them, but didn't have the Japanese audio for them and that's why they didn't include them.

Yeah. They're not. Like in the original, it would say "Dragonball Z" and show the title card for the Next Episode.

Just got on my computer a while ago and read my way to the last page.

Is anyone else over exited? I myself almost broke down in tears, £350 for all 291 Dragon Box episodes with English Subtitles? It's an amazing price considering that's less than the price or the Dragon Box The Movies.

We HAVE to be getting the extras from the Dragon Boxes too, Hopefully they'll spread them out, and put the two "OVA'S" on separate sets, what about the Specials?

We better damn well get 4 DBoxes, 1 or 2 DBoxes GT and maybe 2 or 3, I guess, DBoxes the Movies.

Next episode previews, original credits, the remastered 4:3 legit Dragon Box footage, godly packaging, an 80-page book, AND Daimao's subs, with the English dub thrown in just for the hell of it?

I... I have no words.

I have NO words.

FUNi has redeemed themselves in my eyes completely. I'm so glad I never bought the season sets. I bet those of you that did are PISSED, though.

Now I'm afraid to buy the upcoming Dragon Ball sets...

Personally, I'm totally fine with the Orange Bricks... but...

if these come out with the Funi dub, and besides that are identical in quality to the Japanese Dragonbox, I'll just have to get them. I've grown fond of the English voice actors, and really wouldn't want a release without them on it.

I never bought the Season 9 or movies 12&13. I don't want to wait to sell the Bricks until they're worthless, but I want to make sure this release is everything I want!

Edit: Does this mean we will be losing the 5.1 surround? I did enjoy that.

Yeah, I've only got 1 and 9. And I'm not sure if I want DB S1...

Buying the blue boxes might help generate interest in them buying DBOX footage.

I think buying Dragonboxes would show even more interest though.

Well, I was always content with the Orange Bricks.

But with this news, I can safely say I have no qualms with selling the Z bricks to have the full series in Dragon Box format.

Funimation, this is really awesome. :)

I am very happy to hear this! Now everyone can enjoy true remastered picture and sound for Dragon Ball Z in its entirety.

Though, I am a shame that people that bought the bricks got screwed. Eh, thats business.

In case it wasn't already poster, ANN says:
The Dragon Box will be produced from the original Dragon Box masters after a frame by frame restoration and will span the entire 291 episode television series and all 13 of its movies.
This definitive DVD box release begins with Dragon Box One which includes the first 42 episodes, uncut, on 6 discs.

The Dragon Box releases will feature an aspect ratio of 4:3, the original Japanese audio (with options for an English track or English subtitles), the original episode previews, complete opening and closing credits and a collector's booklet.
So we do have confirmed English dialog. but 42 episodes on 6 discs? hmm...
