Madman / Pioneer / FUNimation Box Sets (Wanted)

Post by Namek'jin Ryu » Mon Nov 16, 2009 6:02 pm

I figured with the release of the Dragon Box that a few Members here may want to get rid of their old DragonBall / Z DVD's. Here are the one's I need:

DragonBall Z
  • Namek Saga (Pioneer/Ocean Dub)
  • Trunks Saga (FUNimation)
  • Perfect Cell Saga (FUNimation)
  • Cell Games Saga (FUNimation)
  • World Tournament Saga (FUNimation)
I'd preferably want Box Set versions, but I know in some cases, a la Ginyu & Frieza, there were no Box Sets for their DVD releases.

If you don't mind the Remastered sets, PM me with an offer.

I have all nine Dragonball Z Remastered sets... Any of which I wouldn't mind selling for a fair price that we can negotiate.
Hi, I'm WeeklyTubeShow. Innagadadavida and I like to make videos.

Perhaps you'd like to see one.

Well, I have the Namek saga but there would be no way in Hell I would be selling that. I will tell you I got if off Amazon for like $2.00 plus shipping... it was like $22.00, but hey... that's a great deal to me.

Thanks for that offer, Remix, but I probably should've specified I'm not interested in the "faux" remasters. Sorry.

AndoKomando, I haven't checked Amazon for awhile so maybe I'll head on over there to see if I can't find some of these.

I think Anime Castle still has original season 1/2 singles from Pioneer.

You could actually try the used bin at suncoast/FYE.

At mine I always spot the used boxes of the Namek saga from Pioneer, except grossly overpriced. Maybe they just never changed the used price at mine? lol

I don't know what they're worth anymore, but I have the Ginyu, Freeza, Perfect Cell and Cell Games dvds that i'm probably ready to get rid of.

The Cell ones have the boxes, and they're all in pretty good shape. How much do the old Funi singles still go for these days?

I also have Garlic Jr, Android and Imperfect Cell if you're interested.

Are you sure you don't want the original Funi Android saga boxset?

That Madman Saga of Goku is going to be a royal bitch to find. I'm on the prowl for it as well...

I'll have to get back to you sometime on this one because I'm really only interested in the boxed set versions (for the saga's that have them) right now. Sorry.
G1Ravage wrote:I think Anime Castle still has original season 1/2 singles from Pioneer.
I'll be sure to check them out. Thanks!

Unfortunately the Suncoast/FYE stores in my town have all but shut down. Maybe I should check their websites?

Thanks for the info?

I'd definitely be interested in all of them! Though I just want to get clarification. The Ginyu & Frieza saga's are singles, and the Perfect Cell/Cell Games DVD's are box sets, correct? If you are serious about selling them I'd greatly appreciate it if you could PM me with some pictures. :D

I am sure. 8) The box sets I have listed are the one's I need, the rest are already in my possession.

If all goes well I should have this by the end of the year.

Damn, if only you needed a Babidi saga box set :(
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Yeah man, the Cell ones have the box, but Ginyu/Freeza don't. I'll take some photos and send em to you, it might take a while though haha.

The Ginyu and Frieza discs never got a boxset.

I wanted to update everyone, and brag a little bit, that I now officially own the DragonBall - Saga of Goku (Madman) Box Set thanks to ultimateemail5000; therefore, completing my DragonBall collection! I have updated the first post to reflect what I still need.

Well since I've been frequenting these forums again for the last week I figured I'd bump this thread as its been over two years since I've actively searched for what I need.

The first post has been updated with everything I still need. :)
