It saddens me that it was even suicide to begin with. Simply because if he hadn't gone through with it, he'd still be alive.

With most of the other seiyuu, they've usually died from lung cancer from smoking for several years or of old age.

This is just...really unbelievable. Shit, I don't even wanna think about when Masako Nozawa goes. ._.

That really is tragic. He was a great and unforgettable voice talent.

My condolences to the people in his life, and he will be missed very much.

This one hits hard, an imcomparable talent. One of the most iconic voices in anime. I remember watching an episode of Fullmetal Alchemist for the first time just two months ago and hearing a character speak and I went "holy shit that's Mr. Satan!" My condolences to his family and friends. I hope that he has found some peace.

Mike's update on the site is very heartfelt and touching, kudos.

Who knows what extreme burden he was carrying that he thought the only way he could get peace was to take away his own life. Whatever the reasons, I just hope he found peace.

What I know about Japan and worcoholism, suicides are not that rare there.......
Japan is really hardcore country for living (especially Tokyo).

Maybe, Mr. Gouri was next victim of this lifestyle unfortunately. But I doubt we'll ever know some details.
Heil to his work he did during his life and hope he's better now or he'll reincarnate to better space and time in future.
People are dying, that's natural process and remaining life is going on.
