They're worth a watch for a laugh... Unless you're, like, not into DBZ profanity...
The Bridge Entertainment dub kept all original background music, and hardly any profanity was used thanks to mild editing.

Unless we're all talking about different dubs here...

Blue Water's dub of DB and GT were like that - hardly any editing and original music.

Am I correct in thinking that the movies only have one language?

The video material for DB and DBGT is from AB Groupe (french). ;)
For Z, they got most out of FUNis material.
AB Groupe was the publisher for Ocean's versions.

Ocean dubbed DBZ

Blue Water dubbed DB and GT.

While Blue Water is connected to Ocean, by the looks of it they do things different in their department.

As far as I know, it's the same company but different studios. Is't it or was there a missunderstanding? :?

Ocean / Westwood studios (based in Vancouver) dubbed the first two "Seasons" of DBZ (and FUNi's 95 DB dub) in syndication. They also did the new "Ocean" dub which starts at ep 114 (or something like that).

Blue Water studios (based in Calgary) were contracted to do the dubs for Dragon Ball and GT. Both are complete
Where's the beef?

I know. But I thought Blue Water and Ocean are the same company but different studios (in different cities - Vancouver and Calgary).

I believe that the Dub is usually called the Big Green Dub.
I'm sure that all movies have been Dubbed by them, but there wasn't enough interest in DBZ DVD's over here anymore, so Bridge stopped releasing them.
That's how it always goes here in The Netherlands.

They didn't do a great job, but at least they kept the original music. :)
Haha, i believe norwegian dub is based of this too
they call piccolo for "Big green" too.
haha, the norwegian dub is the worst thing ever.
the dvds themselves.
the subs are horrible.
they are 90% same as dub, and sometimes timed as badly as 2 secs before or after dialogue

I think it's the case, as they mention Ocean in their DB (and probably DBGT) endings.
