Ah Thanks! Does anyone think that Funimation will get the right's to this and slap a double feature of this and the Remake of Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans?
I would really love official release's And I don't even care if they Dub them. Just get them out!
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

That's weirdly selfish of them compared to how nice they were back in 08' with not only streaming the special no matter where you were, but supplying subtitles too.
DB's got fans all over the world and they know that.
They care a lot if they can milk you off your money :D
That's not selfish, it's marketing. I actually was perplexed that they decided to stream 08' online worldwide, as usualy there is the sign: Made in Japan only for Japan :))

If you can find a proxy that lets us play the other flash videos on the site, let us know, because all the ones I've tried just give me blue screens with no flash player.

Re: MCDaveG

Oh I have no problem paying money for it; I'd love to purchase the 2008 special if Funi ever gets their hands on it; the thing is Toei (or Shueisha) creating a product like this and then not making it available for purchase, even in Japan, that I find weird. You'd think that if you put so much effort into making a product that you'd want to also put it out on the market to make money.

Re: Craddle

This is true, maybe I just feel a little spoiled by that nice international feeling that went into what they did in 08. If I remember correctly they even had subtitles in Spanish and French as well. I'm sure it'll eventually appear somewhere unofficial at some point in the near future.

The spot where the EoB logo was is now just a white square for me, so I assume you're right.

Mike seems to have confirmed it on Twitter, too. I guess they were waiting for noon...as I suspected!

It's a shame that we're not going to be able to watch it. I hope we get the chance to see it soon.

I found plenty of them yesterday, but none of them support flash players. It takes up too much bandwidth.

Aw man! Why build me up when you're just going to let me down.. It's too bad people outside Japan won't be able to watch this, oh well.

Let's try to keep down the excessive:

"I can't watch it!"
"Me either!"
"Man, that sucks!"
"Yeah, totally!"

... types of discussions. Yes, it's up. Yes, it's region-locked. However, let's all do our best to keep the conversation relevant and helpful, as this thread will be getting lots more attention in the coming hours and days.

Region locked, huh? That blows. :(

Oh well, we could always hope it gets a retail release in the future, right?
