Him vowing he'll one day beat Kakarot whereas before Vegeta didn't care anymore about that. It's the beginning of the end for him.

I don't like any of what followed, but the line by itself was a great way to close the book, and is harmless by itself.

I don't like it existing period, Vegeta's speech 10 years prior had him give up on this dream and the fact Toriyama isn't even drawing him smirking or smiling to add some ambiguity but with a straight-faced scowl is damage, if minor, to his character.

There's a re-done ending to EoZ where Goku gives Nimbus to Oob and Vegeta states he'll defeat him one day, setting us on the current path of making Vegeta's speech about not caring about Goku's superiority null and void.

Babidi and Paragus are the most underrated villains in the franchise.

Paragus is criminally underrated, he's got an actual motivation for what he's doing and I love the fact he uses the "actual" Legendary Super Saiyan to break Vegeta's spirit without so much as touching the guy.
