I'm not really fond of this kind of stereotypical moments like Goku likes eating and Roshi perverts that happen too often in anime, though. I hope there will be something more creative.

I really missed to see Goku eating something before a great fight, and that wasn't shown.

I just really liked that blue sweatsuit of his and the way he acted in this movie, Toriyama's Gokû is so entertaining to me. I do hope that we get some new battle footage too though.

I prefer his 'civilian' farming clothes from the JSAT, but in general it's nice to see Goku depicted by Toriyama as wearing something other than a dogi.

I saw the trailer too. It seems that Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Form (with aura) was wondering about something. He was scratching his face if I remember correctly.

*Is so pulling for a full, up-close transformation sequence for Gokû's first ssjg, as them pulling the camera high up into the air and away until the sequence was over was such a huge tease.* I don't know if I'll get it, but I can have hope. :3

Hm, I remember when the movie first came out, a lot of people thought it was weird that the whole 'Beerus explanation scene' took place over a long-shot of Kaio driving around his planet with Goku...perhaps this shot is an alternate version of this sequence; or maybe it's further information on Beerus' backstory. Or even an explanation on how Kaio got his planet back. Endless possibilities, although I'm half expecting most, if not all, of these new scenes to be jokes in all honesty.

By the way, at what stage of production were these scenes removed? Since the voice actors for Pilaf and co. only recently recorded additional dialogue, am I correct in assuming these scenes were deleted quite early on?

I would actually laugh if that happened, an even more extended version...but I dunno if they'd ever go that far. This is Toei we're talking about. If anything, they'll do a special edition later on that has these new scenes on there (whether or not they'll remain integrated into the film or just be 'bonus footage' on it's own though is what I wonder) though.
