I guess I'm a bit inconsistent, because I always use "Bulma", but now I always use "Kuririn" and refuse to use "Krillin".
I use whatever the official subtitles use now in most cases.

I think Rocketman has summed it up pretty well. Even if one wanted to convey the pun, there apparently isn't a strict rule about how much the pun needs to stand out. Like with quite a few other cases (one of them being Saiyan, as Rocketman pointed out) Bulma conveys the pun quite enough, if you ask me.

Well, if you want to be the butthole of the devil's advocate, it's actually "Saiya-jin" with "yasai" rearranged and extra "jin" (人), which is a completely separate character. "Buruma" is all one thing.

I use Bulma. Official subs and English manga uses Bulma, and it's what I'm used to.
