Image vastly better than the DVD by the way :?
HDTV rips generally look a lot better than the standard DVD version, and yet, HDTV rips are the solution until it becomes available in more formats (Blu-ray and Ultra Violet/Digital Copy)
Tell me. Although I prefer the Spanish channels HD version of Batman Returns over the Blu ray. I am interested to see these HD dragon Ball z movies..even though we have blu rays already

I hope this means what I think it means.

Blu Ray releases of the films. Now's the time, Toei.

2013's could be Dragon Ball's best year so far if Toei Animation (Animation/Remaster/Original Nippon cast), FUNimation (BD/DVD release/JP audio with Eng subs + dub) and Namco Bandai (DBZ game) all work towards their best hell yeah it'd be.

I'm hoping that if these DBZ films are properly remastered in HD then FUNimation after a while will make a deal with Toei Animation to publish in the western on Blu-ray (the definitive DBZ Film Collection on Blu-ray) and DVD, because it would perhaps look better than FUNi's "Digitally Remastered" edition. Dragon Box: The Movies makes it sure of so.

Hmm, if there were a FUNimation Dragon Box films collection and Blu-ray version, and I had to choose one... Dragon Box for collectible, value and a faithful replica of the original Japanese edition.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

That's a typo for 'free' right? You already subscribes to the channel like you said you were?

Damn. Sorry about that. :(

Yeah I meant "free", and no, I haven't subscribed to the channel yet, but now I feel dumb cause I have no need to ask them about the masters they'll use.

I would love to see some global hype and have the movies too on Animax in TV with czech subs, that would be cool to see.
(BTW. czech subs in GT are horrible, it's probably translated from Hungarian dub, as there are different things than what they actually say in Japanese)
Animax in Japan is a very different channel that the international counterparts. I'd wager that these "HD" broadcasts of the DBZ films won't be aired outside of Japan, at least initially.
Yeah, and that's exactly what pisses me off about it. This copyright bullshit, I want to live in more unified world.

I'm not too surprised, although I was hoping that if they were breaking the 35mm films out for theatrical showings somebody might think to remaster 'em.
