How many people want Goku and Vegeta to hold hands and finish off Freeza by firing a heart shaped super beam? *raises hand*

Frankly I think something along those lines sounds a lot more likely than most of the "Vegeta wins" scenarios floating around. The movie starts with Goku and Vegeta training together, so them defeating Freeza with teamwork seems fitting.

Vegeta: Earthling or not, let's show this freak the true power of two full-blooded saiyan gods. *grin*

Goku: I'm with you...Vegeta. *he holds his hand*

Vegeta: ...Kakar--Goku. *he smiles at him*

Goku: *He smiles back* TOGETHER!

*They both charge a beam with one of their open hands*

Goku: Kame...

Vegeta: Galick...

Goku: ...hame...

Vegeta: ...GUN!

Goku: ...HA!

*Their beams join together into the shape of a heart*
*It engulfs Frieza's beam*

Frieza: T-this cannot be! I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED AGAIN! I WILL NOOOO--*blast vaporizes him and creates a smoke cloud*

*The smoke slightly clears in the air, revealing somebody inside*

Vegeta: Impossible! He's still alive?!

Goku: No...I feel something else.

*The smoke completely dissipates, revealing...Broly!*

Unlike most the other characters, Vegeta seems to say "Legendary Super Saiyan" a lot of the times he talks about it. All the "I've become the Legendary Super Saiyan", "They're capable of humiliating the Legendary Super Saiyan", blah blah blah. Maybe it's a pride thing, like the Prince of Saiyans thing he refused to let go of even though the race is extinct.

All the "I've become the Legendary Super Saiyan", "They're capable of humiliating the Legendary Super Saiyan", blah blah blah. Still, I want that word to mean something for real just like old times (referecing Namek saga). Legendary Super Saiyan kind of lost the balls throughout the story.
