Unlike the previous masters, Whis didn't give them these outfits though. They just decided to change clothes and try and see if Whis would train them, as two separate events as far as we know. The only reason they even have Whis' symbol on there is because he graffiti'd it on during the training to prove a point, so nothing is implying a direct correlation.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is the ultimate in Toriyama thinking. Toriyama always wanted the smaller weaker looking guys to be the strongest when they fight and he considers blue to look weaker than red or yellow. Thus this form is born.

We finally have a SSJ form that is truly Toriyama inspired.

After 15 years of being my favorite form I believe that SSJ3 was dethroned today by Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.

As just like Vegeta either skipped or got SSJ3 off screen he now has gotten red SSJG off screen and skipped straight to SSJGSSJ.

Speaking of that blog update I found this line interesting:

"Just like the last film, this one’s got both familiar faces and unexpected ones; each and every line might go down in universal history, so you’d better pay attention to them all."

I guess this is exactly like BoG where the character interactions and dialogue are films selling points, which is so awesome to hear, and with more action to boot I am really excited to see this, and with FUNi being ahead of the curve english dub-wise hopefully this means they can nail the interactions etc as well as the original cast.

But the name Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan than ANN used is just stupid and lame. Never gonna use that one.

Mastered Super Saiyan God, Beyond Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan God Mode are much better.
Or this one would be true Super Saiyan God, while the other red form should be called just saiyan god or imperfect super saiyan god.

Those names are less accurate though, mainly because this form was never implied to be a "perfect" version of Super Saiyan God. It's literally just a SSJG-powered version of SSJ1 and doesn't seem to be very different than what Goku did in BoG.

The only with I would satisfied with it be would at least a single sentence of Freeza's concept of training to upgrade himself in this short 4 months, if there will be an extended edition. That's my only wish.
