Looking for DBZ Scandinavian releases of movies 1,2,4.

So today I started looking through my stuff again, and found that I'm missing these... Anyone's got them? It's important that it's the scandinavian releases as I'd like to have the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish dubs of these.

What DB stuff was localized in Scandinavia? I know about movies 1-4, and the manga, and episode 1-100ish(?) in Denmark.

You mean the Big Green Dub DVDs?

These were the titles and also the films/specials released of the Big Green Dub:

Film #1: In Pursuit of Garlic (1989)
Film #2: The Strongest Guy in the World (1990)
Film #3: Super Battle in the World (1990)
Film #4: Super Saiyan, Goku (1991)
Film #5: Super Rivals (1991)
Film #6: Fight! 10 Billion Power Warriors (1992)
Film #7: Super Battle of the Three Super Saiyans (1992)
Film #8: The Burning Battles (1993)
Film #9: Super Guy in the Galaxy (1993)
TV-Special #1: The Father of Goku (1990)
TV-Special #2: Gohan and Trunks (1993)

The spines look horribly out of place and they didn't even have the films/specials in the right order:

Like I said, I mean the Scandinavian releases, not the Big Green dvds. They're not the same. I'm more interested in the Scandiavian dubs than the Big Green dub.

As for the question which movies were released in Sweden, it's 1-9 and the TV. specials.

I'm a native speaker of Swedish (if having a heavy American accent due to not using the language for years still counts), so this should be interesting to see.

As I expected, the acting is nonexistent. However, it's not really any different from most of the budget dubbing that happens here. Turles is misnamed as Raditz for some reason. The form of "you" that Gohan used is WAY too personal. You only use the word "du" with people you know. The last line makes almost no sense.

I don't think the second one requires translation. People give Sean Schemmel and Funimation flak for pronouncing Kaio-Ken differently, but at least they got the attack right.

The reason Turles is called Raditz is because in the beginning of the Big Green Dub he refers to Goku as his 'idiot brother' which is likely why they called him Raditz.

To this day, I still haven't heard a Swedish 'Cha-la-Head-Cha-la' and that makes me want it more.

It's not "differently" they used to pronounce it incorrectly but then later on they managed to get it right (thankfully) but they still say Saiyan wrong and use the improper spelling of characters' names.

They translated this dub from the Big Green Dub.

And you who ask for these, well, I have movies 3,5-9 and tv specials 1-2...

But it blatantly is. Might be loosely, but what other dub do you know that translates the Saiyans as Space Warriors and calls Tullece Goku's brother? Also, the Bardock special removing all references to the name Kakarrot.

I'd say Spanish has the record: three removed. First Japanese to French, then French to Galician, finally Galician to Spanish, for most of DB and DBZ until the end of the Freeza saga.

Since the Swedish releases are discontinued (and never really popular when they were released to begin with, since we had imports of the movies by that time, and Dragonball's popularity had already sunk a great deal by then), they are really hard to find on the web as is. I have seen one copy or two at second-hand stores over the years, but that's pretty much it.
The manga release is much more prevalent and easier to find, and to add to perspective, the series didn't do very well, but the publishers were kind enough to promise the fans to give a complete release.

If it helps, the following movies were released in Sweden:

Dragonball Z: Starkast i Världen (World's strongest)
Dragonball Z: Det stora slaget (Tree of Might)
Dragon Ball Z - Den nya planeten (Lord Slug)

The best bet would be to look after the Danish releases.
