Since I first discovered the Japanese dub back when I was a kid in the menu for a Boo arc dvd, I've pretty much stuck to it. So a vote for Japanese from me.

Although I adore the Funi dubs since Kai, the Japanese actors ARE the characters to me.

English, Funimation Z Dub

I like it in Japanese and I also appreciate the Kai dub but I just prefer the Funimation Z dub voices. Being a big Gohan fan, his change of voice in Kai keeps me from loving it.

It's Spanish (Castilian, not Mexican) for me.

English, I wouldn't have it any other way. I still can't believe goku sounds like that in Japanese .

That's a tough question for me. But I do enjoy a well-made English dub more than the original (like in Kai, Battle of Gods, video games and maybe GT), so...

+1 for FUNi dub, I guess.

Put me down for Japanese!

I do hear the English dub cast when I read the manga though. I can't help it. I wish I could instead imagine the Japanese cast. And when I read the Saiyan arc I hear the DBZ Abridged cast. Why? I have no idea!

Put me up for French Z Kai, and for DBZ I prefer Japanese. But I'd rather watch Kai over Z.

My screenname should speak for itself.

Even though it only mentions DBZ, the same goes for other DB stuff as well.

Even though, I primarily grew up with FUNimation's voices and they've made the effort to improve, it's hard to separate the characters' from their Japanese voice actors. They're really that good.

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.

DBZ English, Funimation
DBZ Kai: English, Funimation

DB: English, Funimation

DBGT: Japanese

I'd love to see Kanzenshuu start putting some English language history into their Website.. interviews, write ups, script comparisons etc etc. It can only help increase the knowledge database around here.

Having information about the history of different dubs of the series (in general) would be awesome. There are a few dubs whose history I'd love to know.
I could also contribute to the section.

Having an International DragonBall Vocabulary topic would also be interesting. An International Vocabulary with the main words and expressions being used in DragonBall.
