Kafla is a user of Super Saiyan 2 too!

But too bad Toei wasn't able to change her hair to make the difference noticeable. That means we won't see her as Super Saiyan 2 in games (mainly in Dragon Ball Heroes, as we don't see Dragon Ball Super Trunks and Cabba so far, and because Heroes doesn't like the form too) and even if we do, the hair would be the same as Super Saiyan.

Nonetheless, it's cool that a fused character appeared as a Super Saiyan 2 for more than one frame, unlike Gotenks. Here's to hope Heroes brings other female and fused characters, and in the case of Saiyans, they also happen to have this awesome transformation.

You could post a Super Saiyan 2 Xeno Trunks image instead. As expected, Dragon Ball Heroes did a great job with his design.


I've grown to dislike Kafla's Super Saiyan 2, to be honest. Such an ugly form (and the fact that Toei once again butchered it by not making any difference from Super Saiyan whatsoever).

I love it because of how fierce it looks. Everyone only thinks of Gohan with when it comes to the form, but even Goku and Vegeta look great with it (though Vegeta has the least noticeable change since he's always pissed off looking anyway).

Personally I dislike the way it looks on Kid Gohan. That volume of hair on a small child looks stupid and also the Piccolo gi is very unappealing to me so the Bojack movie is when a can tolerate the form on him at least.

(One of many reasons I decided to sell Cell arc Kai since I am probably never gonna watch that arc ever again)

I don't know if it was supposed to be SSJ2 (it sure was in the game itself) or if it was just an off-model SSJ that looked like it, but I loved how it looked on the Hyper Dimension boxart.

Goku is easy to differentiate as being a SSJ2 on this one, Vegeta not much as I believe his hair should be sharper. Also I always wondered how would be a SSJ2 Vegetto (ignoring Multiverse comic design)

Got some comparison shots.

Trunks - loved that Dimps just spiked it up what was bended. A slight change that is noticeable enough so we can tell the difference.

Gogeta - what a great job. His hair is already normally spiked, so changing it would probably be difficult, but they still managed it by making it slightly bigger and more spiky.

Vegetto - didn't like that much, as it's just Gohan's Super Saiyan 2. No reason for him to lose one of the bangs too. I prefer the artstyle in this card.

Gotenks also has Super Saiyan 2 but I still haven't found anyone playing as him so that we see if there's any difference.

So, Super Saiyan 2 is getting another variation. This time, it's Goku Black who's achieving it. By combining his god status with the Super Saiyan 2 form, thus creating Super Saiyan Rosé 2.

Between it and Kafla's Super Saiyan 2, I'll definitely pick Super Saiyan Rosé 2. Despite also being an ugly recolor, pink actually matches pretty well with his black outfit. It's a much better contrast when compared to Kafla overall design and her Super Saiyan 2. I still don't understand why they went with green instead of yellow, as it should be.

Anyway, now the only recolor missing for Super Saiyan 2 is blue. Will we ever see Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 2 one day?

Rosé 2 looks so cool. I wish Black got his own series. Seeing him develop as a character and creating these new forms in a properly structured animated series would be so cool.
