Toriyama giving us a true continuation to Dbz which is something I never thought would happen.

I'll bullet point with pluses, just for effect!

+ Son Goku and Friends Return
+ Battle of Gods
+ Dragon Ball Kai, both as a less-insane time commitment to watching Dragon Ball Z and as a chance for multiple license-holders to provide better dubs in light of their better means.
+ Battle of Z and Xenoverse at last introducing some much-needed creativity into the video game franchise, suggesting that, Toei's wonky new intros aside, Namco would rather innovate the evergreen than drop it.
+ New soundtracks, both Kai's ill-fated score and the video game BGM and much-missed Kageyama vocals.

I want to put Jaco but have yet to read it. Dragon Ball has had a lot of wonky stuff in the 2010's. We'll see where Revival of F falls.

Toriyama staying more true to his gag roots and shattering peoples' head canons, in these new stories, is more of a thrill than I would have expected it to be.

If we're talking about from 2002-2015 there was a smattering of decent video games. DBZ/DBGT came back on air for awhile, left, and then came back on again. The coolest thing to me in the last 13 years was Kai. It's a complete disaster but once the dust settles I'm sure people can find something of value in the wreckage. Also we got an English dub that's halfway decent which I'd never guess would happen.

The full color comics. Pretty much the best DB product to come out for ages as far as I'm concerned. It's just a shame that the Japanese editions aren't as amazingly huge as the Viz editions (still great though), and that Viz doesn't show any signs of releasing the full series.

I guess I feel pretty positive about this modern stuff though. I like the JSAT special, I like BoG, I like Jaco, I don't absolutely hate Episode of Bardock or DB Minus the way many people seem to, overall I like the various weird new bits of background info Toriyama has pulled out in recent interviews and Q&As. I've completely lost track of Kai, and everything I hear about it confuses the hell out of me, but if nothing else I'm glad they're doing the Boo arc.

I'm gonna throw down a "seconded" to all this. The best thing to me about modern DB material is how Toriyama has been throwing everyone for a loop and shaking apart what fans have been comfortable with. He's introduced some minor self-contradictions in the process (like the Kaio origins thing), but it's all-in-all been worth it and one heck of a fun ride.

Let's see, I enjoyed the entirety of BoG, but I guess it'd be a bit cheap to say the entire movie, no? So, instead, I'll just say the characters of Beerus and Whis, the design of the Super Saiyan God transformation and FLOW's help with the score, since these were the parts I most enjoyed about BoG.

Dragon Ball Kai, although I see it as missed potential, was a much better alternative to the original anime. That is, if we do not include the Kai Boo arc in the mix, eugh.
