Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Care to say where you got that figure from? Assuming you're approximately correct...
Golden Week Cumulative thus far: ~¥425.11 (~$3.57 million)
So far, the Golden Week isn't seeming that golden. Four of the seven days are gone without all that much to show for it, considering what Toei's goal is.

To a strong man, the end justifies the means. To a stronger man, the means justify the end.
Don't forget the Golden Week that start again officially today. And Sunday seems always better than Saturday. But with FNF unable to follow Conan... Seems that the ¥ 4 billion goal is a bit excessive. Sadly i'm not sure it will beat BOG by a big amount. Although i think he can beat the 3,5 ¥ Billion. However don't forget BOG hasn't passed the 3 ¥ Billion (2,9). But we must stay positive.
It's just my own estimate based on the ticket sales. On its first Monday it made an estimated ¥91 million and baring in mind that actuals were higher and that day it sold 28,300 tickets across approximately 43% of theatres.
Saturday it sold 36,900 tickets based on approximately 43% of theatres.
I'd say it did around ¥120 million. Today's its made more, at least 20% more so far.

Thursday and Friday weren't Golden Week days. Including today there's still 4 days left.
A quick weekend estimate on that site pegs it at ¥300 million which would bring it to around ¥2.5 billion. The next few days might do well to because its still Golden Week and Tuesday is Kids day.
It probably won't outgross Battle of Gods by the time Golden Week is over now.

How long is RF gonna be screening for once Golden Week is over?

Looks like RF fell behind Conan and Cinderella and by quite a bit. That's a shame. It still looks like RF is on track to outgrossing BOG, though. A few more days of Golden Week are still left.

Monday has actually done better than the weekend. It's sold more tickets as of 5pm than it did all of Sunday which in turn sold 30% more tickets than Saturday.
It would be for Japan only. Battle of Gods already made well over ¥4 billion worldwide so it'd be odd to say that their goal for this one would be for it to make less.
They said ¥3 billion for the last one and it made that amount in Japan. So ¥4 billion for Japan alone for this one makes sense considering it is going to make more there.
Edit: "In Japan, Fox International Productions’ Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F is rolling along quite nicely firing up an additional $2.7M on 646 screens. The cume for the Toei distributed and backed release is $21.7M as Golden Week hits its stride."

BOG reached their goal and was a critical success so it makes sense they'd expect the sequel to do better especially with it having a bigger budget and a fan favorite villain returning.
It'll probably reach 3 billion by the time it's run is over and that's not counting the 2-3 that it'll make from it's international release.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
SaiyanBaller22 wrote:Assuming Fukkatsu No F has made ¥2.6 Billion Yen, what's the likelihood it'll get to ¥3 Billion Yen by this Saturday?
It will most definitely make ¥3 Billion by this Saturday. And we still haven't found out how much RF made on Monday, which is a national holiday.
