Reruns of Dragon Ball Z
Are there any reruns of Dragon Ball Z on tv anywhere?. I'm curious because in the U.S we rerun Kai on Toonami but not Z. Is it the same or opposite for other countries?

It's not Z, but the original DB is airing in Brazil on Tooncast and Kai is airing on Bandeirantes (with the Yamamoto score) while Z doesn't air in Brazil since 2011 (on Cartoon Network) and GT doesn't air since 2013 (on Bandeirantes).

According to kei17, Z still airs frequently in Japan.

Hmm. That makes me wonder whether there were DBZ reruns when Kai was airing originally in Japan.SSJ Electric Fury wrote:According to kei17, Z still airs frequently in Japan.

I don't think anyone will ever move on from DBZ.FortuneSSJ wrote:That's interesting. I thought they had move on. It's good to know.SSJ Electric Fury wrote:According to kei17, Z still airs frequently in Japan.
There's something about it that brings people back to it even though they've memorized it better then their own name.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

on animax japan dbz is currently airing (but the sound is as awful than the dbox)
Re: Reruns of Dragon Ball Z
WHAT?! Why on earth they arent airing dbz on animax asia?genjosanzo8 wrote:on animax japan dbz is currently airing (but the sound is as awful than the dbox)
I mean, the could freakin re-telecast Shippuden over 1000 times, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, YY Hakusho, all those iconic 90's TV show EXCEPT DB, Z or GT
Hell, they show Fairy Tail, Bleach & a bunch of 14 episode long series again & again but not dbz

Not surprising considering Kai didn't hit it with the Japanese version and audience.SSJ Electric Fury wrote:According to kei17, Z still airs frequently in Japan.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Yeah, they definitely do in Japan. I was sat in a hotel room watching Goku vs Freeza!
They also had Nozawa doing live performances over Z clips on one of her TV appearances when I was there.
