* when people dismiss the early portions of the story, and just center on the z era stuff.

A huge thing that's growing more and more tedious is the incessant complaining. And the complaining about complaining. I'm certainly guilty of being part of the latter at times.

I don't think this thread is a good idea. It just seems like a negative lightning rod which really doesn't have much discussion material. I could add my 2 cents, but I ain't sure there should be a thread that takes shots at some fans.

My biggest annoyance with the fandom is how divided we can be at times. There's the whole sub vs dub thing, then there's the Ocean vs FUNi debates, Kikuchi vs Faulconer (although this isn't much of a debate - *cough* Kikuchi *cough* ), etc.

While Super has had its fair share of inexcusable frames by 2015's standards the people who compare it to Z should use episodes of the series as a comparison rather than movies (as is the case with the picture on the left) which have bigger budgets and will obviously have better art and animation.

99% of the "fandom" doesn't know what "canon" means. Half of the remaining 1% think that doesn't matter, and their made-up definition is what's important.

- Animation>Wiritng. It's sad that people these days feel like that animation and special effects need to look good and don't care about the writing. People don't have open minds these days. There is a lot of old movies and shows that have bad effects and are dated, but still are great.

When people treat DBZKai as something far superior than DBZ, when they are actually the same thing (filler or not). The one that really ticks me is when people are listing their timeline and go: DB---DBZ Kai---DBSuper.

Oh and I almost forget, Fans who call themselves fans and get upset because their favorites characters are not interacting as much with each other, or in other words "Not enough content to allow me to do Shipping."

I can deal with differences in opinion, favored or disliked characters or storylines or languages, and anything and everything related to that. People are entitled to their opinion, regardless of what it is. The only time it gets irksome for me is if someone treats another as if they are inherently wrong on matters of said opinion. And that is sadly something that happens way too often nowadays.

I can deal with differences in opinion, favored or disliked characters or storylines or languages, and anything and everything related to that. People are entitled to their opinion, regardless of what it is. The only time it gets irksome for me is if someone treats another as if they are inherently wrong on matters of said opinion. And that is sadly something that happens way too often nowadays.

On the other side, the Internet has somehow convinced people that all opinions are equally valid. Opinions can be just as wrong as any other judgment of something. Nowadays, you'll see people using "it's my opinion" as a defense, which is laughable.
