After selling off most of my other DragonBall DVDs on eBay, I'm left with these. I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with this collection right here. It's like I filtered out the crap. I plan on just keeping these and whatever DragonBox FUNimation decides to release.

Image

With my Episode of Bardock\Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans DVD, I tried keeping the card and all those papers together...

Image

The Bardock\Trunks TV Special DVD comes in this huge cardboard package. I didn't think I was gonna keep that packaging on while it was on the shelf but, I don't think it looks that bad...

This thread always makes me wish I'd taken care of my Dragon Ball figures from my childhood.

Oh! I still have all my old Pioneer (series) DVDs too. I just didn't display them. Just figured I'd throw that out there.

Whoa, they're worth that much?

I have a couple just lying around. :P

Also, Tanooki, can you still buy that Trunks/Bardock DVD?

I was actually looking for it recently just to see if it was still being made. PlayAsia and CD Japan both say it's out of print.

That's a shame... I like how it looks.

I'm still on my awful Madman single releases for them. :P

Erm...works just fine for me, and I even force refreshed the page as well. It's an advanced search of completed listings, so you might need to sign into your eBay account first to see it.

Yeah. That's probably it since I currently am not an eBay member.

I did a major rehaul the other day, when I bought a new mini-bookshelf for my DVDs. Forgot to show off my Dragon Ball stuff here.

Image

All 7 Dragon Boxes, the Bardock/Trunks FUNimation singles, the first 2 DBZ Viz Bigs, 12-20 single manga volumes. (I really want to replace them.... hopefully soon) Megahouse Dragon Ball Gashapon on the right, with the Dragon Ball "capsules" adorning my Dragon Boxes. Also my only 2 Dragon Ball CDs. Kageyama ROCKS! :P

Image

The top of my smaller bookshelf. All my "Ultimate Collection" figures, my "Original Collection" figures, (just Real works figures repackaged in a collector's pack) my Movie Collection SSJ3 Goku, (and awesome SSJ3 Goku drawing sent by a friend) S.H. Figuarts SSJ2 Gohan and other nick-nacks not really related to Dragon Ball.

Image

.... I COULDN'T DARE THROW THEM AWAY.

Image

My bookshelves are really deep, so I stuffed my Dragon Ball Z games back there.

Image

I also stuck my GT singles in the back of a shelf, too.

Image

And finally, all 13 Dragon Ball Z movies! (Funi singles)
Next quest: Start collecting Dragon Ball Super Blu-Rays whenever season sets get released. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I went out on a whim and ordered up the Captain Ginyu, Frieza, Garlic Jr., and Trunks Funimation DVD singles from Amazon. I ordered all of the Pioneer DVDs last week as well.
Image

The only volume that's missing out of this set is "Double Cross," which I will be receiving from an eBay seller in a few days.
My plan was to work my way through Season 3/4 for the sheer nostalgic value, because I haven't watched Dragon Ball Z with the Funimation's original, un-revised broadcast audio since I was...well, since these episodes first aired on Cartoon Network. At least not in sequential order. But...now I'm a little torn, and tempted to resell them, because every single one of the non-Pioneer Funi singles are still sealed in their original shrink wrap. I'm not sure whether it's worth compromising the resell value by opening them up now. I don't know what to do. :/

Oh yeah, a few more things :) -

I went to Anime Boston last weekend. I bought the Cell Scultures figure for $40 and got Chris Ayres to sign my Freeza figure!

The shelf where I keep my Dragon Boxes.

The shelf where I keep my volumes.

This is currently all I have... My collection will be growing over the next year so I'll be posting all my new purchases. I should be picking up the 3 movie boxes, the 4 blue bricks, and probably the GT brick soon. I'm not gonna wait a freakin' year or two for a possible DBox release to have them as a part of my collection. Obviously I would still buy the Dragon Boxes if and when they come out, but as cheap as the movie packs and blue bricks are right now, it's worth picking them up so I can own almost the entire series.

Mr. Announcer wrote:Howdy! I'd be surprised if anyone here remembers who I am, but I thought you guys might be interested in this and this seemed like the most appropriate topic for it. Not sure though so feel free to move it.

This summer I was in Nagoya for a couple days and my mother's cousin's wife just mentioned randomly (believe me, I said nothing to prompt this) that Toriyama's home and studio was nearby in Kiyosu. Of course I begged her to take me so she just texts one of her girlfriends for the address (seriously???) and we go! Here are some photos:

It would be orange... It really meant a lot to me to go since I admire the man so much, but I didn't want to be that idiot that knocks on the door especially since there was that sign on the mail slot.
This is one of the most interesting posts I've have read hear in a while, definitely worthy of its own thread. Thank you for sharing
