You guys are amazing, you really are. For the Valencian dub. I did hear something about 233 episodes being dubbed, but I think they only aired 213.

In France they are dubbing Super now, and they dubbed some of recent specials too, like Bardock's one, or that Hatchyack's one from Raging Blast Videogame. I think France is the only country that dubbed this stuff.

Yeah but there is no word on any broadcast or release which makes this really strange...

gregoryluis, on Youtube there is a video where it's a combined version of Z movies 9 & 12 with We Gotta Power as the opening and at the end it states that it's by Alamo. I noticed the end of Movie 9 is completely cut as is Movie 12's opening portion. Did they do 2 dubs or did they dub the missing scenes later on?

I've divided the Spanish dubs by city rather than studio, since several studios in the same city took over the series over time, using the same voice cast and with no redubbing involved, and it would be a bit of a pain in the neck to list them all.

That was the theatrical and VHS/DVD version, when they aired on Cartoon Network they aired separately and they just dubbed the missing scenes.

Wow, this is awesome! This list is 10x more comprehensive than the last! Great job guys!

Also, I wanted to add that there is apparently an Albanian dub of Dragon ball, and more recently, Dragon Ball GT. I found these on YouTube:
DB Op: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mTMq5OiVOzo
DBGT Op: HTTP://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KxovLOOtE9U
Promo: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uF_gh30qRSc

I also had never heard those second versions of cha la and zenkai power in Brazilian! It seems as though we'll never truly find and uncover all of Dragon Ball's international history, it's just so convoluted....

There's also another version of We Gotta Power that plays in the BKS dub of the 3 DB movies (yeah, that's odd) but i coudn't find it anywhere.

We gotta power for the Dragon Ball Movies? That is pretty weird! Wow I wonder why Brazil had so many redubs and studio changes?

Danfun64 wrote:In Brazil what pretty much amounts to the same cast has dubbed portions of the show twice? I don't speak Portuguese, but it would be nice to know which of the Brazilian Portuguese dubs are the most accurate.

In fact, it would be nice if we could rank all of these dubs by accuracy, censorship (no censorship > light censorship (think Cartoon Network or Nicktoons) > heavier censorship (think Saban, 4kids and... Saban :P) > AB Groupe style "Cut the whole scene regardless of importance" censorship), voice accuracy, and general script quality (is it comprehensible? Are large portions of the script dumbed down or completely rewritten?).
With exception of BKS dub of the first 3 DB movies, and Parisi Dub of TV Specials of Bardock and Trunks released for the DVDs, all the other dubs are at least 90% accurate with the japanese version. Speccially the ones did by Alamo, DPN and most recently by Unidub. Probably Kai Final Chapters is very accurate too(it was not released yet). The first part of Kai had a very accurate script too, because they used the manga as a source, but they used the footage from censored nicktoons version, soo that is a negative point.

Also, even the less accurate brazilian dubs(BKS to DB movies and Parisi for the two specials) are much more accurate than, for example, the dubs did by AB Groupe in Europe, or the original north american dubs.

Licenses expiring, new uncut releases for TV or Home Vídeo, and things like that.

One information more for Chinese (Taiwan) dubs:

You can divide them in:
Chinese (Taiwan) (STAR TV) - DB 1-153, DBZ 1-291, DBGT 1-64, DB Movies 1-3, DBZ Movies 1-13, DBGT Special
Chinese (Taiwan) (Unknown) - DBZ episodes 1-139 (I'm not sure if they did until 139, but I'm sure that didn't passed of the 150)
Chinese (Taiwan) (Unknown) - DBK 1-167, DBS ongoing
Chinese (Taiwan) (Unknown) - Movies 14 and 15

I put "Unknown" because I have no idea of what companies dubbed and/or broadcasted those dubs. I only know that the TV channel STAR broadcasted most of the original series with their own dub. Also, Movies 14 and 15 appear to be dubbed in chinese mandarin in the same studio that did the original STAR dub, because a big part of the cast is the same, like Yu Zheng Chang as Goku and Yang Kaikai as Bulma. The second mandarin DBZ dub has a different and unknown cast, and Kai/Super are did with another different 3rd cast of the other two dubs.

I know something weirder, the Galician dub of DB Movie 3 uses an instrumental of Mind, Power, Ki as the ending theme.

Woah that is weird!

Also, sorry for another update, but according to wiki, I think the Arabic dub of DBZ only went up to 104.

Also, I wonder if Toei has a master list like this somewhere? It would be helpful for them to see what has and hasn't been released yet, and lead to possible future releases.

^Thank I'd like to see that:

I think I going to go and put this in an excel chart to make it pretty.

Edit: I also found that there is a german dub of DB Movie 4 that was released in 2011.

HTV3 in vietnam is also airing OG Dragon Ball right now.

Also, there's no chinese version of the DBZ specials at all???

Is their a Finnish and Lithuanian version too?

Hungarian (DB 1-153, DBZ 1-291, DBGT 1-64)

The DBGT TV Special was also dubbed in Hungary.

All right I was on a roll, so here you go, a nice, tidy Google Docs spreadsheet!: http://tinyurl.com/jk9vq9p

I sorted it more by territory than language. I also opened it to public so anyone crazy ambitious enough can revise and finish it! Just please leave a comment by clicking comment box in the top right hand corner about what you edited please!

As far as I know, there's a Lithuanian voice-over but there isn't a Finnish dub (in Finland, the english FUNI version of Dragon Ball Z was shown with Finnish subtitles but the last episode was aired in German for unknown reasons).

Yeah, well, it was, but licens plus doesn't even excist anymore and Toei's taken over everything by themselves at this point, at least in Europe...

I want to add more info about the Romanian voice-over :

• It was aired in TVR2 (Dragon Ball) and TVR1 (Dragon Ball Z)

• Dragon Ball Z was aired between 2003-2004

• The Saiyan and Freeza Sagas were based on the original japanese version and the Android Saga was based on the Spanish (Latin America) dub.

...and The Serbian dubs :

• The old Serbian dub was aired in several channels like RTV Pink, TV Nais, Kanal D and Kanal 9

• In the old Serbian dub, Dragon Ball was based on the original japanese version and Dragon Ball Z was based on the French AB Groupe version

• In the old serbian dub, both series were recorded in MAT Produkcija (even though it used voice actors from RTS)

• The new serbian dub was aired in Ultra TV around 2010

• The new serbian dub was recorded in Loudworks dub (that dubbing studio went bankrupt in 2015)

• Some people say the new serbian dub was based on the FUNi english version (I'm not sure of this).
