Best source for A Hero's Legacy?
I have a couple of questions concerning the DBGT Special "A Hero's Legacy".
1. What's the best release of it around in your opinion (and please list any flaws this release may have)?
2. Am I right in saying that all releases of the special use the D2 Master, even the Dragon Boxes and afterwards?

1. Dragon Box GT. Same flaws as everything else, but the compression is pretty good, and it comes from the master tape.
2. Yes. All non-DBox ones use copies of the original master, so I imagine the DBox source is a tiny bit better.

The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

While they use the same master, the Dragon Box release cut the sponsor card after the opening which some of the PAL releases (e.g. the spanish Selecta Vision or the french DVD release) retain.

The Dragon Box version would be the best since it comes from the original masters.
Otherwise any other version is fine.

Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Do we have different DVD's? On mine it's a moving video and keeping the BGM piece intact.

i just check the french dvd and like i was suspecting after the ending they just use what used to be the sponsor card image just to show staff it's quiet without any BGM in each language so like i was saying it's not really sponsor card and it only show after the ending

Is that the Funi DBGT logo combined with French text, when it's obvious that France finished its dub of DBGT before Funi dubbed it? Mind. Blown.

This credit plate, including the ones on the other movies and specials on that DVD were, I very much believe, especially made for this release. (February 4th, 2013)
