Australian DVDs are PAL R4 but it's possible it's compatible with R1 and R2 (if it was authored to).

Dragon Ball Z - The Best of Goku / Vegeta (Madman DVDs)
These DVDs are essentially just compilation of Orange Brick episodes dedicated around Goku/Vegeta, nothing technically great (no Dragon Box footage) but kinda cool to have on the collection. The R1 covers definitely look nicer without a rating logo on them.

Didn't know Madman released these too.
I wonder if they would have sold better for Manga UK than their saiyan arc singles.

Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

I'm so confused by this. How can you have a "Best of Goku" when the story is spread through several episodes? Does it have like Goku's entire fight with Freeza on there? These "best of" are bizarre to me. We're not talking about a TV show where every episode is a stand-alone, we're talking about a series where there isn't a single episodes that doesn't require a lead in or follow up episode.

I've only ever seen these for sale online, never in a store here.

I think I've seen them at JB Hi-Fi a few times.LordCrumb wrote:I've only ever seen these for sale online, never in a store here.
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

Seems this was unsuccessful for FUNimation or else they might have done a compilation for Piccolo, Kuririn, Gohan and the two Saiyan brats. You know, it's kinda weird to have a "Best of Goku" and it doesn't even have the episode he went Super Saiyan which was pretty epic.Dragon Ball Ireland wrote:Didn't know Madman released these too.

I've seen Best of Goku on the clearance shelf at Walmart back around 2015-2016.LordCrumb wrote:I've only ever seen these for sale online, never in a store here.
