I think it's reached the point where it can be considered true beyond any reasonable doubt.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147

So what is Rooster Teeth exactly? Is that the talent agency Vic was associated with and gets him all his bookings?

It's the company that produces RWBY.

Ehh, no. We can consider without reasonable doubt that he is a douche, that he invades personal space of other people, and that he is cloggy. The incident with Neil Kaplan is a good example of all those characteristics. But, we can't consider without reasonable doubt until now, even if is a possibility, that is a pedophile or a rapist. Being cloggy or being a douche is not the same thing of being a pedophile or a rapist.

Again, that is a possibility, but is the kind of stuff that we need to be skeptical and wait for proofs. Words only, are not proofs.

Probably Funimation will kick him soon. And maybe Bang Zoom and other places where he works as well.

It's the company that produces RWBY.
They're also the ones behind Red V.S. Blue (a super-long running Machinima series made using Halo); have a new mecha series going now called GenLock that's using a mix of in-house talent, anime voice talent (like Monica Rial), and even some bigger celebrities (like Michael B. Jordan, Dakota Fanning, and Maisie Williams); and a part of the company, Achievement Hunter, does a lot (and I mean a lot) of Let's Play type video game videos on Youtube.

In regards to Vic though, I think the only relation was RWBY, but I'm not sure if he's been used in other places or not for sure - I've fallen pretty far behind on all of RT's stuff in the past few years.

It's possible, but hard to call at this point. If nothing else, he might get booted from both, but anything he's already recorded will be left as is. Scott Freeman (who was convicted for child porn) still had things he was already in releasing a few years after his incarceration. That's why it's also unlikely that they'll re-dub Broly in the film, despite some theorizing on that front - it just wouldn't be cost effective. Now, when Broly comes back eventually, it'll be someone else, if he does get the boot I mean.

As far as Bang Zoom goes, I know he's currently Rohan in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable, and if he's already recorded all of that, then he'll still be in the entirety of that show. If they haven't finished dubbing it yet though, we could end up with a re-cast mid-series, which will likely also still be the same on DVD/Bluray.

Huh, I only knew them for RWBY. Thanks for telling me about the other things they do. I appreciate it.

No worries. RWBY was the main thing that was in relation to Vic, but on the off chance TVfan or anyone else hadn't heard of that, I figured it couldn't hurt to list other things that they might have heard of. (It also helps/doesn't hurt that my fiance is a MASSIVE RT fan, so I hear more about them than some others here might. )

Before this thread, I had never heard of RT or RWBY so thanks!

So he won't be voicing Qrow anymore? Damn
zarmack wrote:The whole "Dragonball is only supposed to be light and funny" mentality that exist in a lot of the fandom is in many ways even dumber than the "edgeload" side of the fandom. You know, the contrarians who think DB should be a Slice-of-Life series, the folks who worship Pre-Raditz Dragonball uncritically, the folks who downplay and often flat-out deny that Dragonball is an action series, the folks who try to push that false argument that none of the serious moments in the series were mean't to be taken seriously, etc.

Dragonball doesn't have a single tone. It has both silly and serious moments, both humor and drama, just like real life. The idea that a work of fiction should be only all-comedy or all-serious is unnatural and frankly, retarded.

i am sure all of this would have not been discussed right now if the Broly movie wasn't out. There also needs to be more evidence than ''she said, he said''. And if this has been going on for 10+ years then I am sorry, but people should have made a big thing out of it a long time before. Until I see some evidence I can't talk shit about him.

This has nothing to do with the Broli movie. The discussion was sparked by a prominent member of AniTwitter being outed as a predator. This gave the victims of the two aforementioned voice actors the courage to finally speak out against their abusers.

Evidence has been littered about from dozens of sources across this thread and Twitter.

YouTube really isn’t having any of this KickVic stuff, and many are insisting that people are going after Mignogna because he’s a white Christian man. That’s not surprising, but I wonder if that’s more of a statement on YouTube itself (which seems to lean fairly heavily towards the conservative side of things) or of the anime community in general (which does seem to have captured the hearts of many young anti-SJW folks).

At this point, I just do not want this to end in a David "Knuckles Dawson" Dreger situation.
For clarification, Dreger was a community contributor in the early days of Rooster Teeth's Achievement Hunters, similar to how Matt Bragg and Jeremy Dooley were before they were actually hired by RT.
In 2011, Rooster Teeth inexplicably severed ties with Dreger and left fans questioning the reason.
On May 26, 2013, Dreger went missing and a search for him was conducted:
https://www.polygon.com/2013/5/28/43733 ... les-dawson
On June 20, 2013, Dreger was found dead near Ambleside Park, Vancouver, Canada. Dreger's family and Rooster Teeth co-founder, Burnie Burns, released this statement:
http://roosterteeth.com/post/3041908%7Cwebsite=Rooster
Apparently, one of the last things Dreger did was leaving a video of featuring a scene from Dumb and Dumber as the only thing on his website (the website's domain name, http://www.knucklesdawson.com, has since been available purchase and the video no longer available).
Former Rooster Teeth employee, Brandon "Fragger" Light revealed in a post that has since been missing after the revamp of the official website that Dreger had been making inappropriate communications with a minor and Light told Geoff Ramsey (one of the co-founders of Achievement Hunter) about Dreger's solicitations that led to his release.
This is a surviving screenshot of Light's post.
This reddit post by Light further clarifies the situation:
https://www.reddit.com/r/roosterteeth/c ... ouncement/
Hello everyone, Fragger here. Poke me on twitter or whatever but this is me.

sigh Looks like I have to clarify a few things here.

First of all I in no way feel bad about what we did at the time. Hindsight is 20/20 but looking back we did a lot of what needed to be done. What I AM sorry about is that we didn't go further. Talk about it publicly, get the police involved, SOMETHING to make sure it didn't happen again.

Second: Everything I wrote is information that I have either seen/experienced myself. None of that was hearsay.

Third: I did keep a few things out due to being very emotional or things I did not feel important at the time. It was not one night. It was over several. The first text was on Thursday night and it went all the way into Sunday. It was not just at night. It was morning and during the day. It was not just texts, it was also phone calls.

Fourth: Why now? I had a breakdown about it recently. This was the only way for me to move past it and onward with my life. I hope that is what is going to happen.

Now then I would like to stop seeing people saying I was defending him. No, no fucking way. I am sorry about the fact that this topic is never talked about. We NEED to.

The only way to make sure that this kind of shit doesn't happen again is to let people know that they are not alone. They are not powerless. They don't us berating them screaming "Where is the proof?!?" Proof does need to be givin BUT they don't owe it to us, just the proper authorities.

There might be more people coming forward with their own stories please respect them.
Fragger and Rooster Teeth did the right thing then, Rooster Teeth did the right thing now.
I'm sure Funimation will release a statement soon about Mignogna, too.
At the same, I am not a scalp hunter.
His career as a voice actor is over, but I sincerely hope one day Mignogna gets a chance to redeem himself as a human being (and he does not squander it).
Call it naive, but its better than him dead.
