Its not a bad idea.
It's a great idea. Dragon Ball is a franchise at this point so why not do what franchises do and give a popular character and his hot green alien babe their own side story with a comedic bent. Like that Yamcha inseki story but actually canon.
I hope Cheelai is not relegated to just "hot green chick".
I know Toriyama has a hard time with romance, but maybe Toyotaro does not?

I'm sure she'll be fine. My comment was poking fun at science fiction's history of hot green women aliens. I don't think anyone wants her reduced to just the attractive woman who hangs around Broly.

Ah. I get it now.
They'll probably have Zoe Saldana come in and do the voice acting when they continue the story.

As I've said before I want Broly to have his tail. And I would love it if he found a Saiyan bride. I don't see Cheelai and Broly ending up together. But I do see how a male Saiyan would find her attractive as she is very strong willed.
