Overly hasty enthusiasm about theoretical new anime

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that people are still waiting for new content in this series. What bothers me more is that people are taking news from leakers that might as well be considered a rumor on an online anime, almost as an official announcement from the creators. Especially since all we have are assurances from these people based on trust alone. I treat it more like a rumor from which maybe there will be something, but many times sites, fanpages or other such things already treat this "leak" as an accomplished fact.
