This may have been the first anime convention where I haven't bought ANYTHING DragonBall? In my defense, they were barely selling DB stuff XD

The absolute most recent item were these old school changing cards (read: holographic) that are randomly packaged. I mainly bought it for the awesome family portrait on the envelope its in!

As for the card, I got...

LOL I searched "dragon ball" in my school library Opac and "Dragon Ball Volume 10, Akira Toriyama" popped up. They stocked it in 2006, and how they just randomly got a volume of manga and didn't stock any more of its series is beyond me.

Just received these:

DragonBall Z HG Plus Action Pose Series 2

They're actually a really cool series that I missed out on when they first came out a couple years ago. I don't care for the tan colored stands but otherwise I think they're pretty awesome additions to my HG gashapon collection.

Though I technically didn't purchase them, I just got the two DragonBall Z x One Piece figures where Goku is wearing Goku's clothes and vice-versa.
Funny thing was that a friend bought them for me as a gift without telling me. When I was handed an unsolicited package from Hong Kong I will admit I was slightly nervous lol.
These are the first two pvc figures I have ever owned, so the trick will be avoiding the temptation to start collecting these darn things. They're so cool! I want more, but I know I shouldn't.

See, that’s what I was like.
“Just one! It can’t hurt!”
And then I bought another. And another. And before I knew it I was addicted.

Same. It's over CODii, you're screwed. You won't be able to resist, and then you'll buy one more favourite and just get addicted like me. :/

The 2nd figure from left to right, which evil version of Goku is this? It's not Trullace, nor Ginyu in Goku body, who is him?

I just received this Bandai Super Battle Voice Vegeta figure. It's a pretty neat figure with a light up and talk feature. He's about 7" tall and talks either when you turn the power switch on or when you press a button on his back. His Super Saiyan hair also flashes yellow similar to the old Irwin toy Energy Glow figures. Sadly he's articulated only at the shoulders so he's not much of an action figure. Additionally he only says 2 different lines which is a bit disappointing. When you flip the power switch he says (in Japanese of course) "I am Super Vegeta" and when you push the button on his back he screams "Final Flash."

I tried to get a photo of the light up hair but it didn't really show up in the images.

HQDX SSj4 Vegeta (loose)
Legend of Saiyan DX Volume 1, (Volume 2 is shown as well)
and Naruto Kenran Emaki set. (Because I love, love, love the 4th). I'm way too lazy to take comprehensive pictures of the DB stuff becuase I don't even like them. I just got it for the sake of completion. Volume 3 LoS is where it's at.

Image

EDIT: The SSJ Gohan is an AMAZING figure, I retract my earlier statement in regards to him anyway. The detail form the hair to the cape is immaculate. Wonderful work! Curse my dim lighting!! It doesn't realize the full colour and detail of the figure!
