SOOO SOO amazing!! That little quarrel between Vegeta and Bulma was priceless. I am so happy that Vegeta had such a major participation in the whole thing. Granted, he didn't actually fight, but his interventions were many and were fun to say the least.

Cutest moment ever: Vegeta and Gure meeting.

No the pleasure is mine.. AWWWWWWW for the love of Kami, that was adorable. He is SUCH a gentleman

No, it's still Ryo Horikawa.

There is already three on going threads about the special, that really doesn't make any sense once you think about it. Canon or not, this was just a "feel good" kinda short, I don't see a reason to think too much into it. It was funny and enjoyable I like to leave it at that. The sub was perfectly fine in my opinion, in fact I didn't expected to be subbed so soon. Thanks Jump.

Just some random thoughts I wanted to get out:

-I can't "print screen" while the special is running, but did anyone noticed the scene where Videl is blushing ("Ugh I have bad feeling about this") The look on her face can totally be taken out of context. Damn you dragonball hentai!

-Sexy Radish

-The reporters hair looked stupid. It's like she walked into the wrong anime. ("Oh, I'm sorry I was actually looking the Love Hina special").

-The Ox King, Gohan, Bulma, and Chichi were wearing pink. It must be the new black.

-The Grateful Radish Seed is smiling. Creepy but it made me laugh.

-Vegeta arguing with Bulma was a scene that was long over due for most BxV fans, I would assume.

-Vegeta wasn't out-of-character, he was the person he was always meant to be.

-Goku, you cheeky f#@ker!

-Great intro remix with Goten and Trunks added to it.

-It seemed 18 didn't want to fight unless there was some reward to be had. Ah, 18 you just one step away in becoming Nami from One Piece.

-Puff~Puff

EDIT: -Wait, was Piccolo...Eating Soup? Must be an oversight, but still...

YES.

Okay, I really think the glowy hair works with Gotenks. I mean, I think Gotenks very rarely looks better. I mean, in a couple of those shots, he looks just plain BADASS.

Nozawa did great with her characters as always but definitely could hear a little "old lady" creeping into their voices.

Which is fitting seeing as how Goku should be sounding a little aged too.

Being almost forty and all.

I honestly didn't hear any real difference, but that may just be me.

Neither did I. It's like they've never stopped recording voices for the series.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Has anybody tried watching both the original intro and the new special's intro side by side? It makes the fanboy in me very very happy :D

Heh heh, definitely! I loved it so much, I immediately went and made an avatar out of it. I imagine that's what foreplay must be like for them....they would have been ripping each others clothes off within a few more seconds if Gokuu hadn't stopped their argument

For anyone that's interested and still having problems streaming the new special with Jump's browser, I've posted another stream over on Kanzentai. Please do not ask me for a copy, I'm just trying to help those that are having problems. Enjoy!

I just finished watching it, and I loved it, I actually laughed out loud at a few parts, especially the fights between Goku and Vegeta, their rivalry got a little tired in the Boo arc, so it was nice to see a humorous take.

The intro was amazing, the animation was great (some of those camera movements during the fights were awesome) and I loved the story mostly because it didn't feel like it was all about Goku.

All of the seiyuu are in spectacular form (perhaps thanks to the video games) it sounded like they only just came off the Boo arc.

Man, for Masako Nozawa to be so aged, she has this awesome talent to sound forever young.

Shame on you for writing such vile, disgusting things about DBZ characters. You sick perv! Speaking of which:

Now imagine this screen cap without the subtitles.

Any one notice the Neko and Tory-Bot icons on Gohan's desktop yet?
