We Were Angels looks like shit too.
Well... Shit!

They never addressed the Head-Cha-La audio issues, so I doubt this will be fixed in future seasons...

The episodes themselves look pretty good, but We Gotta Power and We Were Angels look awful. (Although the first couple of episodes on disc 2 have insane amounts of grain)
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I think those issues started with Season 5. I swear they just throw these episodes on DVDs and do no quality checking. Had DBZ been a lower level title, there probably would quality checking on it.

The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Aree you talking about how muffled it is? On the Funi singles I have of Cell saga episodes, Head-Cha-La's pretty muffled-sounding there, too.

Yes, those episodes. I thought it something was wrong with my DVD player when I first played those episodes.

It's weird, though. On other TV's that I have, it sounds like it's in stereo, just with low volume, while on others, it's muffled.

This is the season that has the fewer episodes and the most boring to be honest.

I think Season 3 was "the most boring." There's like two good moments, seperated by hours and hours of fighting. I've always enjoyed these intermission episodes where we're reminded that the characters are people with lives.

Hm. I just realized that I skipped the Other World Tournament episodes to get the the Saiyaman ones. I'll have to be sure to go back and watch those.

I love the Saiyaman and Tenkaichi Budokai episodes. It really shows the flexibility of this series. It can go from the ridiculous Great Saiyaman and early Tenkaichi Budokai episodes to the stark dramatic awesomeness of the Videl VS Spopovich fight and the draining of Gohan's SSJ2 energy.
