Has there been any word on if Medicom has reacted or even noticed the negative reviews the Goku figure got due to the skin issues? Whether or not they did, I doubt that it was soon enough to effect the manufacturing of this figure (that's not to say they didn't make the necessary material changes anyway), but I'm really hoping they get the Gohan figure right and the must-be-in-the-works Vegeta figure as well.

Medicom have offered to replace the chest pieces through distributors in Japan and Hong Kong. No other word yet regarding any other countries and I suspect there won't be.

I have two Medicom Goku's, one that I bought as soon as they were released - got mine well before anyone in the States - and another which I picked up only last week. The first one has the cracking, the second, none at all. I'm wondering if the cracking only affected a very early batch?

Does the turban come off? If not, there's no real reason to remove the...shoulder cape thing.

With the way his antennae are covered by the turban, there's really no way to make it removable.

I wouldn't say there's no reason. In fact, I always thought Piccolo looked his coolest when he was wearing his turban without his cape.

His turban does not come off but you can get a Piccolo head without the turban when you buy Gohan
