Gotenks is still fused there.
As "the squirts' fusion"/"the fusion of the squirts".

So in this line "the fusion" is the subject, while in the other one "the squirts" is the subject.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that much to the contrary of popular belief Toriyama actually answered a strength question? Though i'm sure it was out convenience.

I'm also a bit surprised that his "love" (or lack there of) of his most prominent manga series hasn't changed.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Hello, I have an important request. I'm trying to gather as much information as possible about the Dragon Ball BGM. I have this album from 1986 called ,,Dragon Ball: Ongakushuu'' and I would be extremely grateful if someone could translate the liner notes there. Here's the cassette tape that I'm talking about:

Image

And here are its liner notes that I wish someone would translate:

Image

Of course, the second photo only serves as a means to show you the amount of text I wish to have translated. I will make another more clear and detailed photo (close-ups of each of the four columns of text) on Wednesday if someone would be willing to translate this. From what I can tell, it's some kind of information about the BGM that can only be found on this cassette tape and on the vinyl record version of this album. Dragon Ball: Ongakushuu was also released on CD in 2003ish, but I don't think it has this liner notes (Animex 1200 tends to change covers and things).

I'd appreciate any help. This is a rare opportunity to learn something about music from early Dragon Ball. I think the effort of translating it would be worthwhile. Thanks in advance!

I have the Animex version of the CD, and I can confirm it does not have that extensive of notes printed inside the booklet (which is just an inside front/back cover, and has no additional pages).

As promised, I'm putting a higher quality scan of the Ongakushuu notes:

It would make a world of difference to me if someone would get around to translating this someday. Thanks!

I don't know if it will help, but here is the first column of this text (originally written by the master himself :!:)

These scans are from Akira Toriyama - The World Anime Special. No one has to translate anything, but if there's something relating to the Dragon Ball characters that's unique/new/not in another guide it would be lovely if you would share it with the rest of us. (Probably too small to read, sorry.)

I'm very curious about location names in Shin Saiyajin Zetsumetsu Keikaku. If someone is able to translate it for me, that would be awesome. I apologize for the poor quality of the screenshots.

Can someone translate the sound effects on this page? I can read decently hiragana and katakana but these just seem weird. I can't make sense of these.
It's my favourite page of the manga and I can't even read it. Awkward.

There's... nothing particularly weird about them.

Well... I at least had problems reading if it was "ki" or "chi" syllable in the middle sfx... :(
But since this is a translation request thread, I was also asking what they mean.

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but are there any plans to translate the second book of he GT Perfect Files?

We do not translate entire books.

People are under this assumption that Jake/Herms translated the entirety of the first Perfect Files, but he did not.

Ah okay. So if I were to post an image of a panel from the perfect files, I could ask for it to be translated?

As noted in the opening post, if there is something specific you are curious about, by all means post it up and provide a reason you are curious about it.

If and when a Japanese-fluent member of the Kanzenshuu community has the free time and interest in doing so, they may help you out. There is no implicit guarantee that someone will, but everyone around here is generally helpful and nice enough that unless you just post endless Broli images asking about battle powers, someone will get around to it.

Oh! I guess I should have provided a reason. Well, I need that information to make sure my upcoming articles are accurate. They are just names of locations and objects, some might be puns, which might make it a bit trickier.

Refer to my post here for the images in question and thank you ever so much in advance.

I assume you're talking about the bit at the bottom right?

To become stronger than Goku is Vegeta's eternal goal. The instant when he exploded with anger after the God of Destruction slighted his wife, he surpassed Goku?!
