Did Roshi know about Goku's tail being a weakness?

It is something I need to know about for something I am working on. I need to know if Roshi knew that grabbing/squeezing/hurting Goku's tail made him weak.

He didn't seem to know in the first tournament. Yamcha tries to tell him about it, but he goes with blowing up the moon instead.

I suppose it's possible Gohan could have told him at some point, but there's no indication he did.

Master Roshi was there when Gohan tried to use Goku's tail against him at Fortuneteller Baba tournament.

He didn't know until Goku fought Gohan at Baba's tournament. He and Kuririn were both confused why Goku became so weak, and Yamcha explained it to them.

Yamcha: "If you squeeze Goku's tail, he gets weak!"
Bluma: "What?!"
Turtle Hermit: "What?! I didn't even know that!!"
Kuririn: "His weak spot... is his tail?!"
Pu'er: "Now that you mention it... you're right!!"

Nope. Until Goku's fight with Grandpa Gohan at Uranai Baba's place, no one but Yamcha and Pu'er knew about it. Everyone else was surprised to find out that he was such a weakness.
