Why didn't Beerus slapping Bulma kill her immediately when he first came to Earth?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

At Bulma's party he slaps her pretty hard in the face, who is a normal human, and she not only doesn't die, but she's able to stand right back up immediately afterward as if she got slapped by another human.

How do you explain away this inconsistency? Bulma should have blown up.
Right after Lady Bulma had slapped Hakaishin Beerus, Hakaishin Beerus had held back when he had slapped Lady Bulma right back, but if Lady Bulma had been killed by Hakaishin Beerus slapping her, then Son Goku, Vegeta, Son Gohan, Trunks, and Son Goten would have gotten a rage boost from them witnessing Lady Bulma dying at the hands of Hakaishin Beerus.

Since Lady Bulma was one of Son Goku's closest friends, Son Goku's rage over witnessing her death would have caused his rage boost to have caused his Super Saiyan 3 form to have increased in power enough to have rivaled, matched, or perhaps even surpassed the power of Super Buu (Piccolo, Son Gohan, Trunks, & Son Goten Absorbed).

Vegeta would had achieved Super Saiyan 3 for the very first time in his very own life before Vegeta would have been able to have pushed his very own newfound power to even greater heights than when an enraged Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta had fought against Hakaishin Beerus in canon, as Vegeta would have gotten such a much bigger rage boost than normal from having one of his loved ones die by the hands of the very exact same person that had humiliated his father and himself when Planet Vegeta had still existed that the enraged Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta would have been able have rivaled, matched, or perhaps even surpassed the power of Super Buu (Piccolo, Son Gohan, Trunks, & Son Goten Absorbed) like how Son Goku had done too.

All of the times Son Gohan would have remembered spending with Lady Bulma would have fueled Son Gohan's rage boost which would have allowed for Son Gohan to have rivaled, matched, or perhaps even surpassed the power of Super Buu (Piccolo, Son Gohan, Trunks, & Son Goten Absorbed) just like how Son Goku and Vegeta had done before him, but with the real difference being that Son Gohan would have gotten a rage boost right on top of his Potential Unleashed form.

While Trunks would have been able to achieve Ascended Super Saiyan, False Super Saiyan 2, or even Super Saiyan 2 from his very own first ever rage boost before Trunks would have been able to have pushed his Ascended Super Saiyan, False Super Saiyan 2, or even Super Saiyan 2 power so much to the point that the enraged Ascended Super Saiyan, False Super Saiyan 2, or even Super Saiyan 2 Trunks would have been able to surpass Super Saiyan 2 Son Goku from the Battle of Gods Saga.

And Son Goten would have achieved False Super Saiyan 2 or Super Saiyan 2 from his very own rage boost having been fueled by having remembered how his very own Mother had been killed by Super Buu (Base Form) from Son Goten witnessing Lady Bulma being killed by Hakaishin Beerus. With the enraged False Super Saiyan 2 or Super Saiyan 2 Son Goten having been able to surpass Good Buu.

With Hakaishin Beerus being defeated by the enraged Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, Potential Unleashed Son Gohan, Ascended Super Saiyan, False Super Saiyan 2, or Super Saiyan 2 Trunks, and False Super Saiyan 2 or Super Saiyan 2 Son Goten attacking Hakaishin Beerus all at once.

Same reason why 30 civilians and a cat can give Trunks enough strength to overpower Fused Zamasu.

Etc. etc. etc.

It's just a story, power levels don't have to be consistent all the time. That'd make the story boring, plus most of us don't care about them.
“It’s just a story etc etc etc” is the same thing that is said constantly, in this instant it’s entirely possible being a god he could control his strength to the point where he wouldn’t accidentally kill Bulma. If anything, the “plot calls for it argument” is not only overused but just wrong in so many ways when stated in most threads. You know what an inconsistency is? Trunks going toe to toe with SSR Black, this isn’t.

It's not like the two things are mutually exclusive... maybe it IS just a story at the end of the day, so things don't have to be completely consistent 24/7. You can have fun finding an in-universe explanation, but that wouldn't be required in this case.

I’m criticising the constant ‘argument’ “it’s just plot”, because half the time you can find a reason that’s been explained before for why a character like Beerus was able to prevent himself from killing Bulma.

Beerus wasn't even trying to hurt her. Just pointing a lowly Earthling in her place.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

I think a better inquiry would be just how much was Beerus holding back in order to not splatter Bulma's head with that Godly backhand? Despite Vegeta's massive gains in base and wielding a form that is at least as powerful as Super Full Power Saiyan 4, Vegeta still can't challenge Beerus once the Hakaishin decides to truly fight; And Vegeta has got to be hundreds of billions(minimum) of times greater than his wife's PL at this point.
