Did Dabura actually care about Babidi or was it all mind control?

Curious if Dabura actually cared about and revered Babidi, or if it was all the influence of mind control? What's your take?

I don't think there's any reason to believe an "un-majined" Dabura might have any kind of attachment to Babidi or anybody else. He was the King of Darkness or something like that.

Yeah I think Shin kinda implies it'd a big deal he could get someone like that under mind control.

And yeah we haven't seen Towa go against Dabras wishes either he might treat her the same.

Dabura is the King of the Demon Realm. If anything, he cares only for his subjects (and certainly for his sister). I'd bet he would be feeling absolutely livid and humiliated if he had ever broke free from Babidi's control.
