GT is no longer in the mainline canon, its now like the movies. You can consider it canon if you wish, but its more like an alternate universe.

GT fits with Toei's ball and Z

super fits with kai

the 2 films fit with jaco and the manga... .

rows 2 and 3 can switch a little if you want but that makes the most sense. As super doesn't seam to be something that takes place in the same universe as garlic jr and cooler....

GT- main canon (anime canon)

kai and super-modern anime canon

manga-original canon.

It's easily "everyone but Goku (and sometimes Vegeta) was useless in Z!". Though that stereotype seems to be becoming true as of recently.

That's your opinion, man, every fan has his own headcanon (or in your case multiple) but the vast majority of fans don't accept GT as canon.

the vast majority actually love GT,it's just online for the past few years it's the "cool" thing to bash GT. People feel some need to loo kcool and say GT isn't canon if you even mention ssj4. And the fact of the matter is canon=continuity according to the creators,so its not my opinion that GT is canon to ball and Z,its the sequel to em,unless toei says super is canon to Z and retcon GT,then GT stays canon. My opinion might be about super fitting in with kai,maybe the made it for the manga or not to connect with anything and be its own universe,but the manga being the original canon is a fact,it was the first one made.

Ever since Super started airing, I feel like fans have forgotten just how bad GT is. I think they've been exaggerating its quality just a tiny bit.

I think people exaggerate how bad GT is,it's got the least amount of plot holes,best pacing,and didn't spam the broken over used formula from Z.

I also think to many people are defending super no matter how much it messes up. People act like super is flawless or look for flaws with a much larger and older Z to justify super's faults. I mean its fine to like super but it IS the first DB series animated so.....OMFG the colors! I"M BLIND!

Four times out of 500+ episodes though, isn't really as high of a count as it sounds. Especially not when the main character of the entire franchise dies twice himself.

Well, that and his third time is when practically everyone dies, so can we really even fairly count that one against him?

Especially the start of GT. Wasn't there like a 5-10 episode gap of pure nothingness after Ledgic? I like GT okay, don't get me wrong, but outside of the main arc episodes, it was very boring to watch.
