Oh trust me that's not weird. I'm the same in the way that I currently have six hours of Kai on Toonami recorded on vhs.
Haha I almost considered doing the same, actually! I'm actually working to try and get a DVD/VHS recorder so that I can record the Super dub onto something whenever that finally airs.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Exactly what you'd expect. Amazing color, paper quality is good. It's great. Definite buy. Can't wait for the other 4.

CDJapan put up preorders for their restock of Super Volume 1. So I used up all my rewards points (which were set to expire at the end of the month) to grab it for free. Sadly, it's not due for release for another ~2 weeks and then the wait for SAL afterwards...

Dang, that sucks, but I guess it was the cheapest way to get it. Otherwise, it would be around $20 used from Amazon Japan, which is crazy. I'd say you should've gotten the International Priority shipping, but it's much more expensive than when I bought it.

Recently came back from a trip to Japan, and here's a pic of all the DB stuff I acquired (well, actually the Dragon Ball Super tankoubon was sold out at the few stores I checked...I ended up buying it from my local Kinokuniya after I returned home :P)

Image

Mostly Vegeta figures (including my first blue-haired ones), the Super soundtrack and Godly Best CDs, random gashapon from machines, assorted blind box items, my first Champa (a tiny keychain, since all the figures I found of him were fairly expensive), and a bunch of regional goods. Searching out the regional items was something I'd planned to do on my trip, and I'm pretty happy with the assortment I was able to find (though still disappointed that I didn't find all of the ones for the areas I visited...I was in Kyushu for a few days, but didn't find any for the cities down there :/). The four in the back are file folders for Chinatown, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, and Osaka. The keychains in the front are of Vegeta eating regional delicacies from various cities: one each for Nagoya and Hiroshima, two from Kyoto, and a whopping four from Osaka.

I'm in Japan right now myself and I saw those file folders at Asakusa yesterday. That thing on the right of SSJB Goku on a blue half sphere that was like ¥660 I got one yesterday but it was the Frieza one.

I got that SSJB Vegeta keychain too today plus a Super Vegito one and a SSJB Broly one (yeah that's a thing).

I also bought this shirt

Just ordered "It's Over 9,000! When Worldwide Views Collide" on Ebay. Can't wait till it arrives in the mail, been curious about Derek Padula's books for a while.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Dude Derek's stuff is simply fantastic. I'd go as far as to say I'm easily one of his biggest fans and supporters. I was his first sale for the print edition of Dragon Ball Culture Volume 2. I cant wait for part 3 and the rest of his stuff to come out. The Culture series is supposed to be 7 Parts. I asked him if he had Z material and he said he had a ton. He also revealed the other day in an interview with some guy a new book he was writing " The Way of Goku". You won't be able to get enough of it.

I got Volume 1 of Full Color Dragon Ball: Freeza Arc.

I'd post a picture, but Amazon shipped my copy late (for the first time I can recall that happening off the top of my head).

Still, very excited for it. Hoping Viz goes all the way on this one.

I didn't buy it but my Mom bought me a pretty badass shirt of the classic art of Gokuu doing the Kamahamaha (this one https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.M47a ... 0&pid=15.1), it's pretty cool.
