The interactions between Gokuu and Black Gokuu if done well will be the highlight of the arc for me.

I'm kinda surprised so many here like the idea of having Nazawa as Black Goku.
Personally I think she's great, but her voice really didn't suit Turles (or Bardock for that matter). I feel it has the same, "your mom trying to do a bad guy voice" effect that people criticize Linda Young's Frieza for.
Maybe because Black Goku actually IS Goku it might fit more, but I dunno. I just really don't buy Nozawa's sinister voice.
If Black is Goku than it's normal for Nozawa to voice him. Anyway, I like her evil voice only in Super she annoyed me a little.
I think it's better that we didn't get a new episode title list they probably don't want to spoil the interesting stuff.

I want Beerus and Whis to take center stage. I want them being more active so we can have actual growing and interesting characters to play off of and develop. Just make Black as strong as they are so they can be involved. The two of them are far more interesting than Goku and Vegeta are right now. Hopefully Trunks gets to go see them.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.

I do think Beerus and Whis will be missing for most of the arc as Black Goku does something to them and that is why Zeno gets involved.
... And, he uses the word "deformed"; I'm not sure if that's an acknowledgement that there needs to be some explaining of why Mai is around, or if he's being self-critical of his work like any artist. It's probably the latter.

He's just saying it's not a great drawing. MORE IMPORTANTLY THOUGH 4 hours ago he tweeted that he's scheduled to work on a Super episode.
EDIT: Beaten, lol.

Haha I think it is the latter as well It matches with Ootsuka's personality. He also bought the Resurrection 'F' anime comic recently in order to study Yamamuro's designs, so it seems as though he is working to improve himself right now?

Voice acting is a subjective matter so there is really no point in arguing about it. For me Nozawa was fantastic as Tullece and i am happy that she is voicing Black Gokuu and i fully believe she will do a great job.

I think he is talking about the style being chibi like.

Imagine if DB started these days. It would go like this:
"hey, what's happening in Dragon Ball today?"
"Goku wants Mutenroshi to train him, so he's bringing him some chicks now."
"oh i see, just slice of life filler then. skippable. "

So... People were theorizing that Trunks blue hair might be some kind of homenage to Bulma. She is indeed killed by Black and Trunks dye his hair, plausible maybe?
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

This was the most obvious thing that was bound to happen. Anyone who resembles Goku, or is related to him in anyway (male wise), is played by her - well, except for Raditz. But who really remembers/cares about him?
I'm seeing it as no different than the interactions between Tullece and Goku. Save for the, "Join me or die, Kakarotto!" bit. I could still honestly care less about the concept of Goku Black. But I will admit, I do love Nozawa's chilling voice when she portrays sinister characters.
Was it confirmed that it is Future Goku who becomes evil? Because I thought that it might be possible that Black merges/fuses with present Goku, probably making Vegeta and Trunks the protagonists of this arc.
