Similarities of Blamasu and DBAF Xicor
They're both half-Saiyan/half-Kaioshin
You think the DBS writers got the concept from Toyble's DBAF?

Plus needing 5 Saiyans to share light to activate the Dragon Balls from DBAF and the DBS/BoG needing 5 Saiyans for the SSJG ritual

I'm sure it was an influence. Toei must have been aware of what he was doing with DBAF when they hired him, that's probably why he got offered the job.

And just like DBAF, the Mafuba was used on the OP enemy

It wasn't the Mafuba that was used, Xicor was temporarily sealed into the Z-Sword by Gohan at the sacrifice of Kaioshin.Angelus wrote:And just like DBAF, the Mafuba was used on the OP enemy

It wasn't called Mafuba but I think it was Divine or Holy containment wave or something

It's highly likely that Toyble is the person producing the Dragon Ball Super manga (under the name Toyotaro).Angelus wrote:Wait, Toyble is part of the DBS staff?

I didn't read that much of Toyble's DBAF. Which character ended up sealing Xicor?

It was Gohan. Kibito Kaioshin died in a self destruction move to kill the West Kaioshn.Chuquita wrote:Thank you!Angelus wrote:I think it was Kibito Kai

Not for the anime, but he doesn't need to be part of the staff to influence them, they know about DBAF.Angelus wrote:And just like DBAF, the Mafuba was used on the OP enemy

Oh! Gohan. It's been a while since I read AF. Well, I think maybe the Multiverse tournament and the Frost name came from DBM influence
