Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

It's a VERY late birthday gift to a friend of mine but I managed to wrap it up! It's very reminiscent of that Gohan chapter title page from the manga. (which was done on purpose because of the Trunks & Gohan dynamic.)
Dragon Ball /Z/GT/Super is a children's show and there's nothing wrong with that.

The semi-irises were just a personal touch. I wanted to give it a shot to see how it would look and imo, I really like it! When his irises came back the next episode I was disappointed.
