Have you ever gotten 100% on a DBZ game?
Did you ever complete a DBZ game all the way through?
Personally I've only got 100% on the Budokai trilogy (the first and third twice while the second I used the PS2 glitch), Sagas, Shin Budokai - Another Road, and Infinite World. I do remember getting everything in Budokai Tenkaichi except for Equipment Slot +4 but I'm not very sure.
Now name the games you've played all the way....

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Re: Have you ever gotten 100% on a DBZ game?
I did finish a lot of games with maxed out characters mostly in RPGs like Attack of the Saiyans, Buu's fury, Legacy of Goku 1 & 2,etc.
There's really no purpose of getting every single item in these though. I just maxed out all characters (Even maxing out all the stats in Buu's fury), did all the side-quests and unlocked everything.
It's pretty easy for games like Shin Budokai 1 & 2 though, I had a blast getting every possible item.
It's games with RNG like Xenoverse 1 that are really hard to get a 100% on.
Haven't played XV2 yet, I hope it fixed the RNG.

The only Dragon Ball game I've ever 100% completed was my personal favorite, Budokai 3. I don't often aim for 100% in a game unless I really enjoy it and want to get the most of it. That final battle to get the "Strongest in the Universe Trophy" capsule was intense.

Xenoverse 1. I got everything, include all the dumb RNG shit.
I have borderline personality disorder, if my posts ever come off as aggressive or word vomit-y to you, please let me know.

Super Dragon Ball Z. I got so far that now Chi-Chi can use the Kamehameha.

Budokai 1, Budokai 2, Budokai 3, Tenkaichi 1, Tenkaichi 2, Tenkaichi 3, Burst Limit, Raging Blast 1, Battle Of Z and Xenoverse.
The RNG is far more forgiving in Xenoverse 2.DBZ Macky wrote:Haven't played XV2 yet, I hope it fixed the RNG.

Re: Have you ever gotten 100% on a DBZ game?
Yes, in Sparking Meteor, Budokai 1, Budokai 3, Infinite World... But none other game was that enjoyable or meaningfull to get on 100 %.
I remember Raging Blast having these screenshots for Battle Zone, that was really enjoyable... sarcasm. Revenge of King Piccolo was kinda hard to get on full and when I was missing King Piccolo and Arale, my little brother accidentally erased my save game when playing, because the intro screen was without any failsafe. I am not a huge fan of grinding and I really hate the Japanese type of grind. It's just lost time, nothing else.
I have finished 4 of Final Fantasy titles (I, IV, VII and X) and I've never battled the Weapons, extra bosses or obtained the rudiculous weapons and 9999 damages. Just wasn't worth the time.
I admire people that have time and determination to do it tough. I have various other FF titles in progress and some I will never finish. The FF II is rudiculous to train the characters and FF VIII has this weird battle system, that I've never figured out even with walktrough, because it wasn't much fan. I've played trough 3 discs of FF VIII using just summons and then my characters were weak as hell alone and too late to stock items and train them.
Sorry for off-topic.

I unlocked something in the wrong order and got stuck at 99% on Budokai 3. That's the closest I've gotten.

Boy, were you right!Lord Beerus wrote:The RNG is far more forgiving in Xenoverse 2.
Apparently the RNG isn't as bad not because they changed it, but because they removed RNG in RNG. That's a really big and noticeable difference on its own.
What all would "hundred-percenting" a game like Xenoverse 1 & 2 include?
Levelling up all CaC's to max and Z-ranking everything doesn't count right?
Otherwise, Soppa Saia People, you sure loved that game a bit too much didn't you?

Re: Have you ever gotten 100% on a DBZ game?
Budokai 1 + 3, and Infinite World are the only ones I've done 100% everything on. B3 actually took me years because of the effed up randomized capsule system at the shop (refrain from even entering the capsule shop before collecting the memories and crystal balls, or you risk some never showing up at all). I was wondering why I was stuck around 70% for the longest time until I looked up a complete walkthrough. Ended up erasing my file and starting fresh. lol
Not sure if this counts but it's pretty easy getting 100% on Legacy of Goku 2. Buu's Fury was much more difficult but eventually made it. I'm now at the point where it only takes 1 play session to accomplish all power ups, golden capsules and unlock Hercule and max out everybody in LOG II (typically a 4-5 hour run).
