I hate that you averaged boo Kai and regular Kai. Really puts Kai at a disadvantage. Now I don't want to vote for it even though I prefer Kai to Z.

You can skip most filler in Z, but some of it is cool so that's the extra content.
The acting is worse because the cast is past their prime and also fatigued from already doing this same material over and over for almost a decade even before Kai debuted.
Yammamuro's score is worse than Kikuchi's, which is perfect, but even with Kikuchi score the music placement is crap.

Dragon Ball Z Kai, I love DBZ, but Kai in my opinion perfected it by removing a lot of pacing issues Z had.

I agree with all the flaws people bring up but for me and other Kai fans, the pacing and dub make up for them.

Ah, dub. I'm not from english-speaking country (which is obvious), so that plus not very meaningful for me. But I understand importance of Kai's dub for english-speaking fans.

If Toriyama wasn't lazy, I think, he would then come to a more creative idea than simply explain that Goku and Piccolo - aliens.
It's offtopic, but I think that Z-part of the series would be a LOT better, if Toriyama wasn't lazy and (probably) tired.

How would you have done it ?

Think of...
-Other continents so a little world building that lacked?
-Other continents tournaments in escalation?
-Have him reaching a cap, open a school and got new generations?
-Underground dragon people?
-A rival school to defeat?
-What in fact happened: an ancient god appearing?
-Frieza coming to Earth as an alien invasor?

There wasn't any need for Goku to be an alien, it stripped out a lotta magic out of the character. It also created that "infinite power cap" that turned later plots into a mess to manage.
You could have simply a series of episodes for "Goku search for his past", finding a lost tribe or maybe a divine origin!
How nice to have Goku being a Kami fallen on Earth to protect it (or being punished for crimes against the Skyes by a previous incarnation!).
Chinese mythology it's very more fascinating than "you're the space superhero, now shoot GETTA BEAM and destroy worlds".

I chose Kai because of the French dubs. I don't see why we can't choose it for that reason.

1. Dragon Ball: The early sections are the best. The zany wacky Kung-Fu adventures of young Son Goku and friends are generally more engaging than the drawn-out battles to save the world.

2. Dragon Ball Z: While it doesn't retain the level of quality of the first series after the Saiyan arc, and the pacing is pretty bad from the Freeza arc onwards, it still has that patented Toriyama charm.

3. Dragon Ball Kai: An unnecessary cash-grab with an extremely slipshod production. It's sole redeeming quality is fact that it's really the first piece of Dragon Ball content that actually has a quality English dub.

4 & 5. Dragon Ball GT/Dragon Ball Super: While they do have some redeeming qualities, both series are sloppy messes that lack much of the charm and quality of Toriyama's original work. GT high points are higher and its low points are lower, whereas Super is more consistently meh. I think Super might be more infuriating, what with it taking place during the 10-year gap between the Boo arc and the epilogue, but since it's still airing, I'll give it a break for now.

I can only assume you are referring to the Japanese voice acting.
