Some Season 3 DVD-set info straight from Z Store...

I just spoke with a Z Store employee.
She told me they don't know the exact date (or month, even) for the next DBZ season set.

But what she did tell me is that the Season 3 set will cover episodes 75-107 (whole Frieza saga).

I asked about Season 4, and its episodes, but she said that they didn't have any more release information at this time.

The entire Freeza saga? I knew this was gonna happen, but hell yes! I've been waiting FOREVER!

Just figure another 3 months just like the gap between seasons 1 and 2.

Yeah, I remember hearing it'd be release August 28 (maybe it changed I guess).

I'd be more excited if I knew exactly who they're choosing to "redub" into the old 1999 version. @_@
Having Vegeta redubbed on both tracks just killed it for me with Season 2. I'd only think of getting that season now to mst those episodes.

With the way this is turning out you'd think that the next "season set" (season 4) would be the Garlic. Jr. saga only!

If they're doing all of Freeza in this one set, then I guess the next one would be Garlic Junior, Trunks, and maybe a chunk of the Androids.

I think having only the Garlic Jr. saga, which is one of the shortest sagas in the series, is not good enough for one set. They need to combine it with the Trunks Saga to give it more. Or, they could just do it like they did before and have the sets separated into seasons...

For whatever reason FUNimation has decided to upload a SEASON 3 trailer now, despite it not being out for ages, so watch and try to enjoy I guess. The boxart is certainly an improvement though, it looks pretty snazzy.

Oh dear...3 things that caught my interest:

Not one mention of the wide-screen treatment, now deliberately hiding it in their advertising.
It's still being deemed "Definitive" and "as it was meant to be seen".

What caught my interest was how horribly cropped Goku looked as he transformed into a Super Saiyan, and also how half his face and mouth are missing as he fires a Kamehameha. Not that I should be surprised at this stage, of course, but for some reason I still find myself thinking "Why?" and feeling thoroughly disappointed every time it happens.

Nope. If you've seen the other two, just add in scenes of Goku and Freeza smacking each other around.

I'm looking forward to these sets, I just wish that the intervals inbetween were smaller. And also wish I had the money in my account a few days back to get the Season 2 set at $8.
