I'm pretty sure I've heard it in Kai TFC somewhere.

Yup, that's a Kai soundtrack.

It was used when Buu released Grey Buu from his body.

PS: A new track was used here! a battle theme with Jazzy brass. Pure Dragon Ball style mixed with some Tekken 3 style guitar riffs!.

The music which played at at 1:32 fits so well specially at the part Freeza starts talking about Zeno , one of the best Sumitomo's Track. By the way does anyone have link to that track?
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

Could the music in this trailer be a new Sumitomo track?:

Now I know that that may sound silly, but imo it sounds like Sumitomo's music, and usual Super promotional videos by Toei contain Sumitomo tracks. For example:

That new track in the background during the beam struggle between Kale/Caulifla and the Pride Troopers was pretty good.

I know, right? They certainly have enough music to fill another soundtrack album, especially if they include the unreleased Boo Kai tracks they've been using.

Hopefully we'll see a second soundtrack release around the time the current arc ends.

That's true when you count the future trunks arc soundtrack, the tracks for the current arc and the boo arc tracks a release is possible. Maybe they'll do what they did with the first ost if we get an arc after this one. Which i believe was released a few episodes into the champa arc

The new OSTs in this episode were very good. I especially loved the one when Gohan and Piccolo went against the U10 fighters. As as a whole, this episode had great OST placement throughout. And, this is the first time in a while where we only have seen a very small use of Kai tracks (I think we only heard one Kai track).

The one played when Ribrianne was fighting #17 was great too.

The Universe Survival arc OST is the best stuf Sumitomo has done for Super. The Future Trunks arc OST was a step up, but this arc's music feels much more "Dragon Ball." It doesn't help that they started abusing the Buu Kai ost around episode 65 or so.
Heroes come and go, but legends are forever.

60.

Rest in peace.

Hey, Jinzoningen MULE

Don't know if you're still active in the forum, but would care to change the subject of this thread to discuss the soundtrack of Super in general and not just one particular arc? I think it would better :D

In-thread:
I noted a new track in the last episode (by the time Dyspo was falling off the ring), do anyone know if it was played before?

Whats the name of that song from 7:05 to 8:25? I apologize for using a pirated version of the episode but that was the only version of the song I can find. Thanks

A lot of the music for this arc as a whole hasn't really impressed me. I liked the Goku Black arc and the darkish themes that were played. "desperate assault" is my favorite, along with the theme that plays when Future Zamasu fights SSB Goku for the first time. I guess it's to be expected, since that arc seems to be darker than this one(so far)

that said, the themes from the recent episodes have impressed me. Especially the one that plays when Hit figures out a way to beat Dyspo towards the end. A lot of the themes I hear...don't impress me at all. But the ones that are good really impress me. if that makes sense
