Me neither. I hope instead Toppo and Dyspo have more of a tag-team dynamic like what we saw them do against Goku. They don't really need transformations to do better.. but this is dragon ball, so its more likely to happen.

By looking at the leaks,U10 got recked by Piccolo,Gohan and #17, sounds cool and disappointing because they turned out to be losers like the anime and Obuni is the only one that matters.Man can Gowasu catch a break here .

I'm guessing that Toei decided to use her as a parody of the magical girl genre because of her design and that's why she showed up as much as she did.

It goes to show how little importance was put on Piccolo in the outline and how those 2 Namakinas were just created to fill a number count for U6, not play any major role in the story or for Piccolo. I give the anime props for using the 3 better.

Because Toyotaro does not care about him at all to suggest a change(he can't even write him in character in the few times he appeared anyways) and Toriyama has been going out his way to humiliate Piccolo since the Buu saga lol.

There were a lot of eliminations that happened off-screen. By the end of the chapter there are ony 37 fighters left on the arena.

Piccolo being eliminated by the bug shouldn't surprise anyone, he was specifically mentioned in the interview as an example for 'who loses to who', so even if there were some changes made regarding the elimination order and such, his case at least was a sealed deal. What I'm curious to find out is whether the same reason will be used, aka the hearing thing.

I'm guessing there is more to the chapter than this though....

If Saonel and Pirina are nothing in the manga then Piccolo could have ay least been allowed to interact and eliminate them due to the anime. They might get a little focus in the manga now. Maybe Gohan fighys with someone else against them or they are jusy nothing.

Literally everyone is filler apart the top Pride Troopers.

Cabba will probably get destroyed by Frieza soon and Goku will just mess with Caulifla and Kale again.

Ribrianne is the worst one and how the fuck did she get so much promotion? She was even on that manga cover.

This arc is just a video game with a bunch of levels with the top 3 pride Troopers the final boss. An arcade ladder from a fighting game and it gets harder as it goes along.

I should probably hold off on judgement but even based on those mini scans it seems toyotaro has a really hard time drawing 17.

Very interesting to ser ribrianne and friends gone this chapter all in one go. I wonder if all the negative backlash against the characters influenced him at all.

So this kinda breaks the theory of the manga following the same anime order of elimination? 18 going out before Piccolo?

Which doesn't make sense considering in the anime she didn't understand why 18 was engaged with someone like Krillin.
