Which Saiyan has the best and worst hair?

I always liked Raditz hair. I really don't know why. Second favorite would be Goku's.

Worst hair... Vegeta's short hair in GT, and Gohan's hair in Super/GT. Vegeta just looked weird with short hair, and Gohan's hair looked like it was glued or something, it just looked weird.

Nappa's, when he actually had hair was pretty bad. No wonder he shaved(?) it.

Goku's would be the best as it can change depending on his form which makes distinguishing between Ssj1 and 2 easy.

I'd say the worst is a tie between Super's Gohan and early GT Vegeta as both are ugly and a far cry from what they looked like before.

Best: That's a tough one. I really like Broly's hair in base form. Shame we don't see much of it! GT Vegeta looks pretty cool as a Super Saiyan when he gets his spiky hair back too.

The worst would be Vegeta's (GT), Gohan (DBS/Buu saga), Cabba and bland haircut in general.

Best obviously Goku, unique in base and then changes depending on forms, either subtly or drastically.

Best base to SS hair though definitely Trunks. I also like Kale's SS hair a lot too.

Worst GT Goten and Gohan (DBS too).

I thought GT Goten's hair was alright, didn't mind it that much because it fit the character. Didn't like his SSJ hair though because as you said it looked almost identical to Gohan's hair.

I love Caulifla's wild hair, but only when animators make the attempt to make it resemble my absolute favorite hairstyle in the series: Future Trunks' Super Saiyan hair. In fact, I love the SSJ Future Trunks/Caulifla-sometimes hairstyle so much, it's long been the "official" main hairstyle of my own original character. This going as far back as 2013, even.

It just seems like "Saiyan" hair. I grew up knowing the Saiyans to be wild and savage barbarian monkey people, so that long and unruly spiky hair seemed perfect.

Hence why my least favorite hairstyle is the "Scholar Gohan" look. Scholar Gohan is that one hairstyle that's short and sometimes has a bang. When it was only Gohan's, it was pretty cool and helped to distinguish him from Goku. But then they gave variants of it to Goten, Vegeta, Tarble, and Cabba. GT Vegeta and Tarble are more like Scholar Gohan + old school Vegeta in different ways. I guess I don't like it mostly because it just seems so generic. Whereas the SSJ Future Trunks hairstyle is really what you'd expect anyone with long hair to look like if they powered up to a new state (seriously, compare that look to the hair of people with long hair touching electric plasma balls) and it also works with the whole "wild man" thing the Saiyans are supposed to be.


On that note, I actually prefer early DB Kid Goku's hair over the more iconic design he has now. The spikes over the curves just make me think that he's a young kid who is so hyper-powerful that he's literally spewing electricity out through his hair, adding to his own wild design. And while I prefer the curved spikes when he's adult, if I had to choose a favorite, it's definitely his kid version.

Best: Goku, Vegeta, Kale, Caulifla and Future Trunks with long hair.

Worst: Nappa and Kid Gohan with short hair.

Best hair: Broly's RSSJ hair (the neon-bluish color looks unique plus the fact his bangs & long hair complements his muscular stature)

Best Hair: Cell Arc Future Trunks. His long hair gave very adult look, plus the fact when he transforms into ASSJ or USSJ, it looked dope!

Best Hair: SSJ3 Goku. Such a bushy, golden long hair always made me jealous....would I be world's richest billionaire if I could sell ONE STRAND of SSJ3's golden hair for 1000 bucks

Worst Hair: GT Vegeta's flat-top, GT Goten & Z Chibi Gohan's bowl hair cut

I do think Bardock's headband makes all the difference, that's why the Super Saiyan hairs work on him even the forms that I don't like it. The headbands gives him a more badass look.

Don't like:
Trunks - whether it's the Nick Carter cut or long hair. doesn't matter, iy looks not good in SSJ form
