Then proceed to stop babysitting and give us some commentating on the fight here and there.
Sigh...
How about this: Piccolo made a youtube video for the Mafuuba already. Piccolo becomes a reviewer on godtube and makes a reaction/review video for the Gogeta-Broly fight?
Gogeta VS Broly! Livestream! Live Reaction Piccolo!

Piccolo and Freeza will most likely only be used to buy time for Goku and Vegeta to fuse. I can't see them doing anything else against Broly.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Spoiler:
I think the way the story is gonna go is that cheyle and lemo are gonna find paragus and broly with his ripped and torn saiyan armor as is shown in the first picture. Then they take him to frieza and he things this a good way to take on goku and vegeta. They give him new frieza force armor (this is why he has it on, and why he is is on a frieza force ship in the trailer) and joins the frieza force.

That would make it worse than the first broly movie IMO. A mindless savage with no ability to think is what was wrong in the first place. Why ruin this movie doing the same but extending it for however long this movie is.
kudo6000 wrote:Rage's design is much more better than both the SS and LSS form.
Anyways, he's more than likely going to wind up like that regardless.
I doubt it. I like to believe toriyama saw what was wrong with the og broly, and is making this as both fan service and as a way to fix the character and make the character more like-able in the eye of the general public and to the fan base, Similar to how the failure of dragon ball evolution influenced him to make Battle of Gods to basically say ¨This is how its done.¨

He'll show up at the end desperately clinging to Baby Pan's leg as she races to save Gogeta from Broly.
But seriously, if someone has to be stuck babysitting Goten and Trunks, let Gohan do it. He certainly doesn't seem to be doing anything else right now. Piccolo can help Bulma hunt for the dragon balls or something.
I'm expecting piccolo to be bulma's bodygaurd.
Why power levels are important?
Spoiler:
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
Is this the print version of the article where the voice actors for Chelye and Lemo talked about their characters? I don't think I see anything new outside of where that movie teaser poster says Dragon Ball Man for some reason?

do we know what any of it says?
Spoiler:
Super carries on much of Dragon Ball and Z's charm in ways that might not immediately be obvious, while also bringing something new to the table. I certainly can't think of any previous arcs like Goku Black, and, for all its problems, the Tournament of Power is possibly the most ambitious storytelling endeavor in series history as far as how its narrative unfolds. It's also a thrill ride, which is all I wanted and exactly what I got. Super also canonizes decades old fan theories in ways that very naturally tie into the overall fabric of Dragon Ball's world in satisfying ways. All in all, Dragon Ball, Z, and Super are all well worth experiencing.

Honestly, I'd prefer that over just having him on the sidelines offering comments for the audience. Also, I'm all for pairing up characters that have not interacted much in the original.
As expected not much information this month. All pointing to that big reveal in 2 months time especially with that SDBH card tease. Looks like this reveal of Gogeta will probably happen the exact same as UI did in Feb:
.Reveal for the film, designs etc.
.XV2 reveal.
.SDBH card reveal.
.Merchandise reveal.
So according to Chelye's VA, this movie's central theme will be Friendship and Action. Well, intense fights are going to happen obvìously, but I don't know how to feel about the first part.
"Bonds", in a Broly movie of all things..
I guessed Chelye will be playing a major role since she was revealed, now I'm sure her influence (or maybe death ) will be the key to calming Broly down.
I wonder how Gogeta plays into all of this, after all the Fusion is also the result of Bonds between Goku and Vegeta. Perhaps this means he will be more important than just someone strong to fight Broly.

I doubt he is around to just comment and if he is Bulma's bodyguard then as long as he doesn't look weak then all should be good.

Piccolo isn't even on par with Goku & Vegeta's bases at this point so of course he's gonna look weak (unless they plan on introducing Super Namekian God or something like that lol).
