Looking for Dragon Box Blu-Ray Copy - HELP

Hey guys! I own the R2 Dragon Box Z singles, and I love them! The issue is that they are in raw Japanese, and are spread across many DVD discs. I'm looking to archive my copies onto Blu-Ray discs, and would like to add the Funi subs to them. Is there anyone who could make blu-ray copies for me, utilizing the discs that I have?

-as many episodes on one disc without further compression (I would like to preserve the 4:3, 480p image of the original discs)
-Soft encoded subs (Ability to turn subs on/off; preferably close to Funi's official Blu-Ray font)

I think you're better of doing it yourself. If the Funi and Jap Dragonboxes have the same timing it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I would but I have zero clue as to how to do it. The timing is exactly the same as my knowledge, but I don’t no how to convert files, add subs, etc

They actually don’t have the same timing.

OP, the best way to do so is to use the fan made Dragon Radar program, which takes subs and dubs from only certain North American DB DVD releases (Blue Bricks/Orange Bricks/Green Bricks/FUNi Dragon Boxes/the DVD movie collections/the DVD movie 2-packs), re-times them, and adds them to the Japanese Dragon Box files. Just search it on Google, it’s posted on this site in the Fan Created Works section but it’s pretty well buried I think.

That said, though it is a fantastic program and works amazingly, it requires a ton of set up and not every step is particularly clear. Also, it doesn’t do anything as regards the Blu-ray part of your request. If you really want this it is going to be a bit of work, and I doubt anyone is going to do it for you. But, it is quite possible to do, and even though you said you’re not a tech guy, you can definitely figure it out with a bit of trial/error and Google.

What I can gather from this is that you're looking to rip the Dragon Boxes, add the Funi subs onto them, then import them onto a BD disc.

To rip the video, you'll just need a normal video ripper, they're not that hard to find. It might have protections on the disc preventing that though, so you might have to resort to less than legal means. But, if it doesn't, you'll need to toss the video files into a program known as Handbrake (if the scenes are separated, you'll have to stitch them back together I'm assuming, my experience with encoding is limited to timing and adding subs) and get a .srt version of the sub file you want. Check the subs first and make sure they are timed properly, then encode them into handbrake. Make sure burn in isn't selected as well, as that will make them hardsubs.

I could probably do it for you, so long as the video files don't have the scenes in separate files and they go OP-Recap-Episode-ED-NEP. But really, it's a nice learning experience, saves you money and means you don't need to ask for help if you figure out how to do this yourself.
