It irks me how many things we could have seen from Black: we never saw him truly battle damaged, nor using his sickle more times. I wish he was more than another Zamasu in the actual arc as his character is what made me enjoy it depise it's dreadful ending.

I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Agreed. His scythe technique was very creative, I would have liked to see him using it in an actual battle (he never actually hit anyone with it, he just used it to open a "scar" in the sky).
That being said, I didn't mind that he was just another Zamasu. In fact, I'd say that makes him even more interesting, because he is this unique mix between a Kai and a Saiyan. If anything, I'd say we should have had more moments of inner conflict between Black and Zamasu, to really drive home the idea that this Zamasu is starting to change due to his Saiyan body.
