It is just me, or does Vegeta look like he was copy/paste?
Vegeta's shadow doesn't even go in the same direction as the other visibles ones (Bulma and Gohan's).

Just a joke, man. That's what DB was always about.
RandomGuy96 wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 9:36 pm Normally I wouldn't say anything about a free fan project, but this is just ridiculous. It's been over 2 years in real time since Babidi started his coup on page 1341, and not only is the end still not in sight, but there's going to be ANOTHER four to six month diversionary episode in the middle of this diversionary episode.
Babidi isn't a diversionary episode; the tournament is pretty much over now that the battle killed off most of the spectators and Vargas.

For reference: here's how long some sagas were in the original manga:

Pilaf/Tournament: 20 November 1984 - 10 December 1985
Red Ribbon : 20 December 1985 - 17 February 1987
Piccolo: 24 February 1987 - 27 September 1988
Saiyan/Freeza: 04 October 1988 - 11 June 1991
Android/Cell: 18 June 1991 - 27 April 1993
Gohan/Buu: 11 May 1993 - 23 May 1995
Super's manga doesn't have the same limits or requirements since Toriyama didn't do it.

The TV series has this length, with each internal saga being about 1 year.
Beerus/Gold Frieza/Universe 6 /Future Trunks/Universe survival: July 5, 2015 — March 25, 2018

So on the whole it's about 2 years for a saga. Again, Multiverse is free, so moving at 1/2 of the pace is VERY understandable since Toriyama was doing it 24/7 as his job, whereas this team is doing it in their spare time as a hobby. It's perfectly fair for them to take 4 years for something that took the original 2 years.

It's unreasonable to expect a free hobby to move as fast as their real life jobs. It's just not feasible for anyone in the world to do that. Multiverse is doing extremely well for a fanmanga that (Asura mainly) doesn't cheat by tracing. I have great respect for the team for being able to keep at this for a decade with no real profit or motivation other than love for Dragonball.

Three pages in, and I'm already b.tching about something:
A. Wasn't Goku supposed to come right after Freeza landed? In original manga he said he wanted to, but then he felt Trunks SSJ ki
B. Does Kuririn and Gohan really need to be together? One per group of Freeza soldiers should be enough.
C. I hope half of special wont be just fight against Freeza grunts.

Trunks turned up a few minutes after Freeza arrived, and it's reasonable to think Goku isn't 100% perfect with the instant transmission yet. Krillin and Gohan is probably just the same pairing as on Namek, they work well together.

I think next to Pamput is Bruce Lee wanna be Goku fought in West City while looking for Bulma, and you can see Man-Wolf in 2nd panel.

Too bad Trunks showed up early in canon, seeing human fighters defend themselves successfully is great, and unlike RoF, they have no qualms about murder. Even Chaozu gets to come out and play.

Ponytailed guy in the yellow shirt turns up a few times, probably the artist doing a cameo.

It's the one held by the little kid in the first panel to the right of C-3PO

Well flying away like earlier would have found out ones ki as well. But sure. And now Goku's here. Was hoping there would be some situation where Vegeta would be forced to reveal himself to Freeza and Kold, but okay, let's get the plot moving.

Oh, ok. Well, this should be alright. Sure, Piccolo doesn't have the 3 years of training, but maybe he'll be able to hold Freeza off rather well.

I don't think Piccolo in this era could handle both Cold and Freeza...MAYBE one-on-one but Frost Demons have zero honor, so...

Goku assumes Piccolo or Vegeta could have beat Frieza so I'd say they're both around 3 million tops right now. Piccolo and Vegeta both seem confident in a fight with each other and ssj limits Vegeta.
