I have it along with History of Trunks as well, both in the original single releases as the others (Double Feature.etc) are the same cropped to 16:9 style as the series and obviously i wasn't going to settle for that crap.
DB collection related goals as of now:

1.) Find decent priced copy of Dragon Box Z Vol. 4 (Done)

2.) Collect rest of manga

3.) Get rest of Daizenshuu (2-7)

Got this in the last day or two on a pawn shop run, and so my PS3 collection of DB games is slowly but surely growing.

Does anyone know of any way to identify if they are real or not?

Why are you questioning the legitimacy of these? They look exactly as they should

I'm just making sure. It's always a concern when buying from Ebay and not having them on store shelves to be able to really use that as a reference. But your comment really made me feel a lot better. Just making sure that I didn't waste money on a bootleg product.

Level 1.2 from Madman.

Got a good deal on eBay and couldn't pass it up and I've realized, like many others that we probably won't be getting another good DBZ remaster for quite some time so why not track down the one Blu-Ray release Funimation did right.

Just need to find Level 1.1 for around the same price (less than €20 accounting for shipping) now.

Also, for the sake of diversity it's nice to have a Madman release now as I hadn't bought any previously and the ship has almost certainly sailed on Manga UK importing the Levels for release here.

Not my purchase, but when I came in to my office this morning, I found this on my desk with a Christmas card from my boss:

I think it will go well on my desk with the DBS Future Trunks plush I found at a Goodwill a while back.

What's wrong with the FUNi blu ray subtitles?
DB, Z, and GT subbed are my "canon".

Probably nothing. The problem with the Blu-ray is the center crop.

I don't have the Blu-ray. The only release I had before were the Danish DVD release which had terrible terrible subs that I think were based on the big green dub

It's not the subtitles that's the issue with the Double Feature BD and DVD release of Bardock (and History of Trunks) but rather the same style of fake widescreen center cropping as done with the Orange Bricks seeing as this came out while the latter was still in the process being released. As with the show, the two specials are meant to be presented in 4:3 no exceptions and cutting off about 20-25% of the image just butchers the animator's and staff's specifically intended designs for television broadcast.

I just ordered on Bluray the last part of Super so that'll be good to have that finished up until they release more if they ever do.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Too bad these are censored, or I would have collected the rest after the first volume. :x

Yeah, the censorship sucks. BUT, having these is a great way to document the different releases. Always thinking of the bright side lol

Exactly my line of thinking. Honestly, I'd love to pick up those remasters, they look beautiful for the most part and have awesome covers but will probably wait for a western release (preferably from Manga UK now that they are owned by Funimation).

Nothing especially interesting, but we picked up the final Super release this week.

It's nice having several complete runs on the Dragon Ball shelf. A few gaps remain, but it's a decent little "shrine" I think.
