I, for one, find it hard to believe that. I'm gonna have to see for myself if one can really change the scenario while fighting and if one can even get to fight in outer space.
We help! ... Hmm. Always get Autobots out of messes they get into.

I wonder if one can literally fly off during a battle and get chased by the enemy. It’s always been something I wanted to do in a DB game, to fly off to other places to change scenarios.

The closest we've ever gotten to that was Budokai 2 & 3 including the changing locations in some of the stages when someone gets knocked through the right barrier on the sides of the screen.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

hyper dimension on SNES also did that, a lot of the stages were interconnected in that game. kinda like mortal kombat 3, lol.

anyway, the lighting engine on this game seriously looks so good and pretty, it's a joy to look at and see in motion.

Unreal Engine 4, bud.

But it was never seamless, it was just jumping from stage to stage with no freedom of choice.
This time it seems like we can actually take the battles from the mountains to the cities, for example. Although I wonder how would that even work if they want to keep the main continuity as it is.
I can’t see them giving us the option to fly off with Vegeta to fight on snowy mountains, for example, as the fight has to take place on those famous rocky mountains.
So maybe the no-barrier option will only be for side-quest battles, or maybe there won’t be barriers at all but it will be impossible to take the battle too far away.

What do you guys think of the Namek stage? I have to say, I feel it looks kind a lame, like old-gen graphics, not as nice as Earth stages.

Also, do you think we'll be able to destroy scenarios or change them, like blasting around Namek and opening up the floor and have lava come out, stuff like that?

I'm gonna have to wait until I see HD closeup visuals before I judge.

Yeah, except that's just for the Saiyan/Namek saga.

As for the not announced story mode stuff, the epilogue with Uub is a must have.
For DLC, I really want Bardock and FT Trunks TV Specials at least.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

with future trunks being a playable character, i feel like the trunks special is almost guaranteed to be in the game, or at least some form of trunks' future will be playable. bardock stuff i could see just being a cutscene or something like that, but given the popularity of the character, maybe it'll be playable, or at least the confrontation with freeza.

We are like 3 months away from the release, do you guys believe there is still one more surprise? if its not some Super-related surprise, what from Z could they be saving for last? the epilogue?
